Video: Beowulf CGI Movie
When was the last time you saw a great CG movie?
Well, for me it was Final Fantasy Advent Children.
But that’s peanuts compared to the quality of the film you’re set to see below. Entitled Beowulf, which is an adaptation of the epic Anglo-Saxon poem about the legendary hero and his quest to slay Grendel - a mythical beast (and ultimately, Grendel’s mother). I do recall a 1999 version of a Beowulf movie. But I only remember it because Rhona Mitra was there. Rawwr!
Check out the animation and the effects of this movie. I’m sure you’ll be amazed.
Details, actors and the official movie site after one more click…
Written by one of my idols, Neil Gaiman and directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film stars (or rather voiced) Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, and Ray Winstone (as Beowulf).
Beowulf is set on a November 2007 release in the United States. I hope they release it on the same date here.
Here’s to another great movie to look forward to after the uber-work from LIVE 2007.
Cheers!
