Update: Perfect World Closed Beta

Tada!

The long wait is over. Here are the updates for all my winners of my blog contest for the Perfect World Closed Beta Accounts. This also applies to the winners from Waukeen’s blog

1. ACCOUNTS - your accounts (usernames and passwords) are already being emailed to you. Please check the e-mail address that you used when you joined my contest. It will be sent there.

2. INSTALLER - You can get your installers in one of two ways:

  • Download – a download link will be available tomorrow May 18, 2007 via website and via torrent. Please check www.perfectworld.ph for details tomorrow.
  • Get it – you can physically get it from our office (limited stocks available): 11th Floor, Pacific Star Building, Makati Avenue cor. Buendia, Makati City. Please bring a valid ID for verification. Sorry but we WILL GIVE CDS ONLY TO CBT WINNERS.

The game will officially be open to Beta Testers (all winners and those in the selected cafes) at 9AM exactly (May 18, 2007)

    i wonder how long will it arrive on my doorsteps…or shall i download it…sana ngayon maglagay na kayo ng download client para start na download overnight…medjo malaki kasi ang file eh…para tomorrow, wohooo…start na laro…hehe

    question lang po. If by now, hindi pa ako nakakareceive ng username and password sa email, it means na hindi ako approved as a beta tester? :( please tell me this isn’t so… i really wanna play! :)

    1. If you are winner, then you will receive one. Where did you win?

    2. Try checking your junk mail folder. Sometimes it goes there.

    3. If all else fails, kindly email perfectworld@levelupgames.ph and send them your details so they could cross-check your account

    @Trod: Not sure yet on the snail mail. I will confirm with the PW team bukas, ok. But try downloading it. Chances are, mauunahan mo pa ung mail kung sakali.

    if im outside metro manila it will take me 4-5hrs just to get the cd

    question: approximately how many hours will the donwloading takes if i use torrent?

    Depends on the number of seeds, your connection (and your patience). I’d say 4-5 hours on a good myDSL

    the CBTaccounts info ‘username and password’ are only available for the ‘winners’ only
    if your not a winner there is no way you can get a CBTaccount
    but you can play Perfect World – Closed Beta through PW Cafe winners
    but those accounts are for ‘Cafe’ use only
    so you cannot play that ‘cafe account’ at home

    got my account yesterday at around 7 am. Thanks GM T for the prize. hehehehe. ngayon problem ko na lang is how to borrow an installer sa net cafe dito sa san juan. Never played among those shops (lagi ako sa bahay). It would take forever to DL the installer (384 kbps lang kami e) kaya dapat cd talaga. Thanks and more power to LU! (best wishes sa new blogsite!)

    I am sorry but you cannot get any CBT accounts now since their contests are already over. The only chance you can play PW closed beta is (if you do reside in the Philippines) go to a qualified internet cafe and play it.
