The long wait is over. Here are the updates for all my winners of my blog contest for the Perfect World Closed Beta Accounts. This also applies to the winners from Waukeen’s blog
1. ACCOUNTS - your accounts (usernames and passwords) are already being emailed to you. Please check the e-mail address that you used when you joined my contest. It will be sent there.
2. INSTALLER - You can get your installers in one of two ways:
- Download – a download link will be available tomorrow May 18, 2007 via website and via torrent. Please check www.perfectworld.ph for details tomorrow.
- Get it – you can physically get it from our office (limited stocks available): 11th Floor, Pacific Star Building, Makati Avenue cor. Buendia, Makati City. Please bring a valid ID for verification. Sorry but we WILL GIVE CDS ONLY TO CBT WINNERS.
The game will officially be open to Beta Testers (all winners and those in the selected cafes) at 9AM exactly (May 18, 2007)

well, just as i suspected. pumunta ako sa isang computer shop just a few minutes ago asking if i could borrow the installer para hindi na ako magddownload. I asked first if they can connect already they said that the servers are not yet up. I asked then if I could borrow an installer, the answer was “closed beta pa lang, hindi pinamimigay yung installers sabi ng levelup”. I explained my situation that i only need the INSTALLER, not an account. sabi “iniinstall pa lang namin”.
So what does this mean? nagdadamot sila? ano yun for their own sake? They said to me na closed pa yung server so meaning they already installed the client, then sasabihin na iniinstall pa lang? after all, dapat prioritize din ang individual testers. most computer shops hindi naman magrereport ng bugs. they would just use that for marketing purposes. may perfect world nga sa kanila may bayad naman. it’s just one of those tricks para dumami pa players nila. doesn’t even care about the game’s issues. LU should have made strict orders to SHARE INSTALLERS to other testers. hindi naman yung account yung hihiramin e, just the installer. I don’t want to shout the name of the computer shop, baka naman masira pa image nila.

GM T. I havent received my account? i have emailed LU already and wala pa reply. winner po ako ng blog contest ni sir wauks. now, i will be visiting an internet cafe d2 lang sa SM bicutan to ask a copy of the installer. sana mapagbigyan ako.. and i hope maayos na po yung account ko. thanks po.

-nope, you wont get an account but you can play while your in the cafe winners
Cafe winners account are not available for distributions, its just for the cafe
if you want to play and dont have account, play @ PW Cafe winners

GM, pano po ung mga umattend ng Q&A dati. My cb accounts ba kami? Sa mga umattend, may nakakuha naba sa inyo ng CB accounts? Ako wala pa, at lagi kasi ako iniingit nung friend ko na nanalo kay GM T ng account. Ayun ng iinstall na sha. Naiinip tuloy ako, hehe.
Meron po ba at delayed lang ung accounts para sa mga umattend ng Q&A or talaga pong wala? Hehehe! Sana meron po, delayed lang. XD

I passed by LUG office this morning, ang sabi sakin wala pa daw cds…huhuhu….pde po ba kunin bukas?

The CBTs are limited. Remember, I can’t give to all – that’s why may contest. I’ll see if I can still give in the future. I’ll update all soon.

okay, now I’m Desperate.
yesterday I started downloading the installer, all 4 parts, waiting for each part to finish before starting to download the next. I waited 24 hours to complete the download with not much sleep (have to click the next link after the first one is done). by 11:45 this morning I finished all of the downloads. I tried installing it then it shocked me that all of the 4 parts I downloaded is corrupted (every part gives file integrity error). I checked the boards for a workaround and saw that the only thing that you can do about it is downloading it again. I have a second choice, which is go to the only two shops here in our area which qualified for CBT. The first one rejected me yesterday and the second one doesn’t have the installer (It’s being held by their technician, which is currently on vacation). Now I really do not know what to do. If Im going to redownload it, it might have a chance of getting corrupted again (smart bro connection is not stable). So any help you guys can give me?

I wish i could get access, lol i don’t know how you guys get on this contest and i’m in the USA so i don’t know if its even possible for me to play but im dying to. I’m playing the Malaysia version and i can’t do much but fly around since i don’t understand the language lol.
Well if anyone can ehlp me out, maybe let me an account, give me link to go in contenst or be enough to give me access to beta? i would appreciate it sooooo much
