The Rock Says Doom Movie Was A Failure

Pro Wrestler-turned-action-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson admits that the Doom movie was a failure.

In an interview at MTV, the lead actor of Doom said that the movie was “trying and failing” at making the jump from video game to movie. Johnson also said that “writing and material” just wasn’t right. In short, Doom (the movie) was a classic example of how not to do a video-game adaptation.

Speaking of videogames, The Rock said that he was  “the best Madden player… ever.”

Well, we hope Mr. Johnson’s video game skills translate into equal success in the coming release of his new movie, Race To Witch Mountain.

Wrong! They kinda followed suit on Doom 3′s timeline, for me, the events of this Doom movie might be happening while playing Doom 3 & Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil.

More of a scientific bullcrap, ala Resident Evil at some extent.

Though some of the enemies were both “Helled” out and mutated, same drama on the game.

the only thing that I liked about the movie was that I finally understood why that monster was called Pinky XD

Ever notice that the super-race in Doom has 24 chromosome pairs while Humans have 23 pairs? Well Hominid Primates have 24 pairs. Why is it that these super-dudes are advanced beyond Humanity, but Gorillas and Chimps are just plain old monkey-people? Total ignorance of science in a sci-fi flick, perhaps?
