Event: Toy Con 2007 at Mega

I just came from SM Megamall to attend the 6th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention, June 16-17, 2007
Megatrade Hall 2-3, SM Megamall

Lots of toys, cosplayers and more stuff! I was there around 3:00pm while the Queen of Midgard (the wife) was busy shopping and having her hair done.

Anyways, the pic below is NOT a toy. She’s just part of the HUGE cosplay…. the cosplay at ToyCon was one of the most attended. Transformers, Autobots and Gundams were part of the show… not to mention sexy girls in hot outfits. Rawrr!

A ToyCon is not a convention without the toys. Check out my pics below

Of course, I took some shots of the event and the cosplayers as well….

I also got a couple of toys for myself - one is a HUGE Galactus in combat with the Fantastic Four and the Avengers. I got it for the sweet price of P399.00 (around $8.00 USD). Check it out below…

Another toy to add at my office shelf… can’t wait for Monday to show it to my officemates/friends…

kakaingit ung galactus mura lang palabas na ko ng megamall nung nakita ko ung announcement about the toycon hayz. kung wla lang akong pasok kinagabihan nun sana bumalik ako.

Aw! I missed another Toy Con!! Argh!!!! I am so much hatin` my life right now! It’ll only take 2 & a half hours travel time, if I only knew. /wah

Awww. Too bad I wasn’t there. I would probably have beaten you to the Galactus toy. Haha. You didn’t mention the other heroes trying to beat the crap out of the devourer of worlds. I also see Iron Man. Probably some other Avengers members. Post some pics of cosplayers that aren’t in a slideshow. It’s so hard to select the best ones. LoLz.

I love what you did with the slide show. I do have a comment about toys nowadays. They’re too large for me. Few manufacturers make small toys (3″ and below). Those that do like Wizkids sell them in blind boxes so you don’t know what you’re getting ’till it’s too late. Wish more toymakers would make ‘em small…
