Cartoon Network will be showing the re-made Thundercats anime series next month.

TV: The Walking Dead

Being a Zombie buff (and yes, I hereby declare the year 2010 as The Year of the Zombies), I’m currently addicted to the new US TV series, The Walking Dead. Based on a comic book by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore, the TV series is a good adaptation… with a lot of tweaks and edits to make the pacing and action stand out on TV.
I just finished watching Episode 6, which is my favorite so far. We’re just a couple of days behind the US showing. If you have cable, The Walking Dead is shown on Fox (check your cable’s TV scheds for local showings).

Am not usually a sucker for As-Seen-On-TV gadgets and products. Well… my mom is another story.
But let’s pause from the usual, girls, games, gadgets and toys and watch a nice TV-product I spotted over youtube.

I’m in the market for a new TV set. And just yesterday, I got my new Toshiba Regza
I was supposed to get the Samsung 37″ for P75,000.00 (everyone’s getting that) but when I did comparisons, I figured the Regza was the best buy since it supported full HD 1080P (the Samsung at the same size only had 1080i). This means that this baby’s configured for the future when Blu-Ray or HD DVDs become more affordable.

The marketing guys at Blizzard have struck a jackpot with a series of TVCs starring Mr. T and William Shatner.
Although Kiven already posted this at his site, it’s worthy of replicating it here.
I really think that tri-media and especially TV ads are not normal marketing channels, it’s certainly an exception if you’ve got the money and the nice product – like WoW.

CSI:NY in Second Life

Here’s a first!
There will be a special episode of CSI:NY which features Second Life, one of the biggest MMORPGs today. This will be one of the first TV shows that directly incorporate an online game. And that game, Second Life, will also hold an in-game event to help promote the show and vice-versa. Talk about about genius marketing!
In this episode, Mac (Gary Sinise) will go inside the game “undercover” to track down the killer of a famous Second Life player. Check out the trailer video below.

Hey! I’m on TV!
Not that it’s my first time (naks). But QTV interviewed me together with Milton Sy, manager of the Team Armada (official Philippine team to the 2007 Ragnarok World Championships).

Anyways, the RP Team is currently in Seoul with Waukeen and will fight tomorrow. More updates on this as word arrives.
