Ani-Com & Games Convention Hong Kong 2011

Last week, I was in Hong Kong on official business. Lucky me, the venue for our meeting was also the site for the annual HK Ani-Com and Games Convention. Took some time off to get inside the exhibit hall and experience this great event. Aside from the Gunpla Builder’s World Cup, the expo was abuzz with activities, stuff to buy, thousands of people and of course, cosplayers….

Baguio for the Weekend

Last weekend, I was at Baguio to do field work and check on the Internet cafes there. Each senior manager is tasked to do sales/field experience and mine was at the summer capital.

It’s been around 10 years or so since I’ve been to the City of Pines. I left for Baguio Friday, March 7 and went back down to Manila last Sunday, March 9, 2008.

As soon as the bus entered the city limits I expected to smell pine. But, lo and behold, I smelled petrol! Acck! Yes, it’s cold up there but it also is polluted.

GM T Adventures at Fort Ilocandia

Last weekend, the RF and Perfect Team were with me on a visit to Laoag for an event.

Before leaving for Manila on Sunday morning, the gang and I elected to stop by at Fort Ilocandia, now a resort but orginally built by the late president Ferdinand Marcos.

The sprawling compound is vast and luxurious. 5 star amenities like a casino, golf course, archery, shooting range and a mini zoo are just some of the many things you can do while staying at the hotel.
