I’d like to take this opportunity to thanks one of the greatest CEOs that ever lived, and a man who not only changed the world through his innovative ideas but one who changed our lives.
Thank you, Steve!

I’m sure most parents, when they get home, get their iPad tablets “hijacked” by their kids. Although there are some kid-friendly apps on the Apple AppStore, the iPad (and most other tablet PCs) are not kid-proof. The worst that can happen is a dropped (and damaged) iPad.
Well… those worries may soon be over. Leapfrog, a company specializing in kid digital entertainment devices, just recently announced its newest product – The LeapPad, the tablet for kids.

Hi there folks!
So sorry. Was out of commission due to severe flu and colds the past couple of days. Was only back at work yesterday. Suffice it to say that I’ve been offline for most of that time, recuperating and regaining my strength. Now that I’m back, allow me to share another Infotech tip.
Here’s LastPass, a cool application that will allow you organize ALL your online passwords and accounts with a single click. Oh btw, I DO RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE THIS ONLY IN YOUR PRIVATE SECURE PC. Don’t use this in a public place such as an Internet Cafe, ok.

What a pleasant surprise when I opened my Yahoo Mail a couple of days ago.
It seems that Yahoo has finally seen the value of multiple sign ins and has offered “connect” options via Facebook and Google. Glad to see that the Internet giants have finally seen it this way. It won’t be long that other services follow suit. I remember talking about this as a ‘trend’ in previous posts.
Cheers!

2010 was a great (and big) year for Tech. Tablets and smartphones were among the big winners in the gadgets industry. LCD TVs (and even their LED counterparts) were becoming mainstream. Wireless was also all the rage. And yes, Facebook, Google and Apple are all in the race to dominate the world.
So, what’s it going to be like for 2011?
Here are my own tech predictions for this year…

The Christmas break will most likely mean that you have a lot of time on your hands.
Here’s a cool project for that… have fun! The video coming up after the break

Blogging is a great way to grow a business, promote your brand or product or share relevant news and information about your hobby. A lot of people blog for other reasons. I personally know some who actually do this for money. For me, don’t think about the money yet. If you dedicate enough time to your blog, slowly create original content, the money will come naturally.
After you’ve used free blog platforms such as Blogger or WordPress (which are hosted on their own sites) and have grown your user base a bit, you might consider investing in your own domain and finding the best web hosting for your new site.

I always wondered where all those Viagra spam in my e-mail comes from?
Now, is a historical moment in human history – 20% of the entire digital spam on the planet Earth (around 40 BILLION messages a day) can be traced to one man. His name is Igor Gusev.
And yes, thank goodness, the Russian authorities have caught up with him good. Recently, Russian police have raided Mr. Igor Gusev’s apartment. Gusev, 31, owns a site called SpamIt.com.
