Infotech: LastPass, the ONLY Password You Will Ever Need

Hi there folks!

So sorry. Was out of commission due to severe flu and colds the past couple of days. Was only back at work yesterday. Suffice it to say that I’ve been offline for most of that time, recuperating and regaining my strength. Now that I’m back, allow me to share another Infotech tip.

Here’s LastPass, a cool application that will allow you organize ALL your online passwords and accounts with a single click. Oh btw, I DO RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE THIS ONLY IN YOUR PRIVATE SECURE PC. Don’t use this in a public place such as an Internet Cafe, ok.

Details? Yes… hit the jump below…

When this happens to me, I call my host ASAP. Good thing I have a great host that always responds fast and fixes things when I need ‘em.

You can either YM a friend and ask him (or her) to check if your URL fires up on his PC. But there’s a quicker solution to this problem.

The Next 5,000 Days for the Web

Kevin Kelly, one of the co-founders of Wired, said that if we went back in time 10 years ago and told someone what the web is capable right now it would be branded as impossible. Guess what? Nothing is impossible. Today, everything and anything is on the web, from satellite photos, phone numbers, friends, products, auctions, videos, knowledge (wikipedia) and communication.

That’s what we have right now. The web is currently 5,000 days old. And it’s one massive machine. So massive that it is analogous to the human brain. Kelly does a talk on TED about what the web can do in the next 5,000 days. The possibilities are jaw-dropping.

The video after the break…

Gadgets: More than just a Phone

Whew! It’s been a hectic couple of days for me. First, me and my new Brand Manager for Crazy Kart, Jeff, together with our ever-dependable guys from marketing services had to cram a lot of work to prepare for our press-launch: which we did today at the National Sports Grill in Greenbelt, Makati

Thank goodness everything went out fine. In fact, Gabby Dela Merced, the country’s top female racer (iRL) even graced the event to show her support for Crazy Kart. Anyways, I wasn’t able to get photos… but our official photographer, Michelle did! More about that (with LOTS of photos) in a separate post, ok?

Meanwhile, most of the tasks to prep for the event were done using my mobile phone. Instructions were just a text or call away. I couldn’t have done half of what could’ve been without my trusty mobile.
