Last weekend, Oct 21 to 23 (Friday to Sunday), I attended Startup Weekend Manila with a few officemates and friends.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 may be the closest thing to the “iPhone killer” dream. Recently, the Android-enabled smartphone won the UK Mobile Choice “Phone of the Year” besting even the iPhone 4. Of course, this is pre-release of the iPhone 4S.

When Steve Jobs resigned as CEO of Apple last week, every news site and blog ran that news. I don’t need to recount those events. Here’s a related story on a different angle. Using 2 iphones, GPS and an app called Runkeeper, marathon runner Joseph Tame ran in Tokyo to make an Apple logo which span around 21 kilometers. Oh-sum!

Globe’s fastest USB stick, the Tatoo Tonino Lamborghini is under fire. Recently, a press release via Marketwire from the CEO of Lamborghini claims that “unauthorized people are currently trading online and through Globe stores a “4G Tatto Tonino Lamborghini” broadband stick which is a counterfeited product.”
