RPG Metanoia is the first Filipino full length CG movie. And it opens this month as Star Cinema’s official entry to the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Today, the gaming community mourns the loss of one of the true legends and pillars of the industry.
E. Gary Gygax, co-creator of the Dungeons and Dragons pen-and-paper Role Playing Game, the thing that started the RPG revolution (both traditional and online) has passed away March 4, 2008. Mr. Gygax passed away peacefully at his home. He was 69 years old.

I had the pleasure of chatting and meeting Gary at the 1997 GenCon. I will try to find that old photo and post it soon. He was a good man and my idol. He even signed my original D&D Player’s Handbook.
You will be missed, sir.

THis has been a long-time dream of mine. The closest thing perhaps was being editor-in-chief of the Ragnarok Ultimate Game Guide. So I guess I can understand the “ardous” part of the process that Luke Johnson of White Wolf and the guys at Blizzard experienced.
If you’re a true-blooded gamer, you can relate. You’ve probably finished a lot of games. Especially in RPGs, the degree of difficulty of the game is most likely mirrored in the strength and the AI of the boss. Bosses, eversince the legendary super monster of Pacman and King Koopa, have been a regular fixture in games. There are lame bosses and there are bosses that can make you wanna rip out your hair.
