In her debut article, Lea shares her passion for video games especially handheld and console. Among her favorites are the Final Fantasy series and even God of War. She confessed on how her love for gaming began; ”It all started with a borrowed Nintendo Game & Watch in the early 1980s. It was a simple black-and-white screen in a dark blue plastic casing and all one had to do was catch the objects thrown in the air. The game’s speed would keep accelerating and once you hit 999 points, the game would start over from the beginning.”
Currently, she’s playing Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on her PSP.

This is one simple, yet addicting game for the PSP.
Patapon is a rhythm game. You play a diety and command an army of tribal warriors which you control via beating traditional talking drums. You have to really “get into the beat” so that they can attack or move. The game was developed by Pyramid and produced by Japan Studios, the same studio that developed and produced Loco Roco.
I simply LOVE this game. Most people in the office are addicted. It received a lot of good publicity and reviews.
Now, you CAN play this game without a PSP… there’s an online flash version.
The link to that after one more click…

More and more people are getting into handheld gaming. Here in the Philippines, the most popular would be the Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS.
I only have the PSP but am saving for a rainy day, so to speak, to buy me a DS pretty soon.
In the meantime, here’s a handy-dandy maintenance guide from PSP Blogger.
It will show you how to replace your faceplate, repair cracks, replacing the UMD door, clean parts and even make it waterproof (I don’t know why you’d want to do that). But don’t let your investment go to waste. Sometimes, you don’t even have to go to a repair shop to have it fixed. All it takes is a little common sense, bravery and some helpful tips from the web.

One of the most anticipated games for the PSP, God of War Chains of Olympus is ready to ship soon.
And according to Sony, they’re going to have a SPECIAL EDITION PSP which will come bundled with the UMD (of course).
The kick-ass God of War PSP will make Kratos proud. It’s blood red… worthy of any Spartan worth dying (and killing) for vengeance. The bundle will be available in June. Check it out, dudes…
