He’s either a Android fan or simply confused. An 11-year old boy in the US urinated on a gaggle of Apple Macbooks in his school causing them to be “damaged beyond repair”

According to this news report, this incident happened at the Upper Allen Elementary school. Total damage is projected at $36,000.

Police “charged the boy with institutional vandalism and criminal mischief and are turning him over to the Cumberland County Juvenile Probation Department.”

Eat your heart out, Swamp People! The townsfolk of Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, recently bagged what may be the world’s largest croc caught alive.

Measuring a whopping 21 feet (6.4 meters) the croc, now nicknamed Lolong, weighs more than a ton or 1,075-kilos (2,370 pounds). Lolong was caught off a creek and bound in ropes and chains. The giant croc is the prime suspect in the killing of a farmer and for biting a girl’s head off some two years ago according to crocodile hunter Rollie Sumiller.

The hunter examined the crocodile’s stomach contents by forcing it to vomit after it was captured Saturday, but there was no trace of human remains or of several water buffaloes also reported missing by locals.

“The community was relieved,” Sumiller said of the capture, but added: “We’re not really sure if this is the man-eater, because there have been other sightings of other crocodiles in the area.”

The local government of the impoverished town of 30,000 people has decided against putting down the reptile, and will instead build a nature park where it will go on display.

Josefina de Leon, wildlife division chief at the Philippines environment ministry, said the beast was likely the biggest crocodile ever captured anywhere in the world.

“Based on existing records the largest that had been captured previously was 5.48 metres long,” she told AFP.

The Philippine specimen would easily dwarf the largest captive saltwater crocodile, which the Guinness World Records website lists as Cassius, a 5.48-metre (18-foot) male which lives at an Australian nature park.

The residents say that there is an even bigger croc on the loose and they’re preparing to capture it too. Lolong is now in a wildlife reservation.

The Philippine Crocodile is an endangered species with only around 200 to 250 left in the wild.

A Malaysian groom is suing his supposed-to-be bride for calling off the wedding on the last minute for $360k. This left him and his family embarrassed in front of their 1,200 guests.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — A Malaysian man is suing his former fiancee for more than $360,000 for leaving him just six hours before their wedding.

Lawyer Latifah Ariffin says 32-year-old Masran Abdul Rahman and his family were distressed and deeply embarrassed when Norzuliyana Mat Hassan called off the June wedding at the last minute.

Latifah says Masran had invited 1,200 guests to the reception and was seeking compensation for damages and defamation from Norzuliyana and her father.

The suit was filed Monday in a court in northeast Kelantan state.

Latifah said Tuesday that Norzuliyana didn’t give any reason for backing out of the arranged marriage.

Norzuliyana could not immediately be reached for comment.

Standing only 23.5 inches, the Guinness Book of World Records recently made it official. Filipino Junrey Balawing is the world’s shortest man. Junrey, a local of Sindangan township, Zamboanga Del Norte province recently celebrated his 18th birthday yesterday.

Balawing measured 23.5 inches (60 centimeters) during the ceremony attended by about 100 villagers and journalists at the town hall. Guinness World Records representative Craig Glenday presented Balawing with official recognition of his status as the shortest adult man in the world, with the framed certificate nearly reaching the ears of the standing recipient.

Balawing, who wore a white shirt emblazoned with the Guinness seal, took over the title from Khagendra Thapa Magar of Nepal, who is 26.4 inches (67 centimeters) tall, Glenday said.

Dozens of journalists descended on Sindangan, a fishing and farming town of 90,000 located about 450 miles (730 kilometers) south of Manila, to cover the event.

“Thank you,” Balawing told the crowd in a local dialect which was translated by his father, Reynaldo. Balawing tried repeatedly before managing to blow out the candles on the cake and clapped heartily each time the crowd applauded. He was later heard saying “Kapoy,” or “I’m tired.”

He has two sisters and a brother. All of whom are average size.

A 17-year-old Chinese boy living in the Anhui province in China sold his kidney for 22,000 yuan, or about $3,400, just so he could purchase an iPad 2. “I wanted to buy an iPad 2 but could not afford it,” the unnamed boy told Shanghai Daily. “A broker contacted me on the Internet and said he could help me sell one kidney for 20,000 yuan.” The child and broker arranged the procedure without his parents knowing, and he underwent surgery at a Chenzhou hospital. When his parents found out, they notified the police immediately but they have been unable to locate the broker, according to the report. What’s more, the hospital at which the surgery took place was not qualified to perform the procedure, but the administration claims it was not aware of what was happening because the department that performed the surgery was contracted to a Fujian businessman. The child now says he regrets his decision.
