Kung Hei Fat Choi 2011

I’d just like to take this opportunity to greet everyone, KUNG HEI FAT CHOI!
It’s the Chinese New Year today and it’s the Year of the Rabbit.
Let’s see what the Rabbit has in store for us this year, shall we?
Ingat

That’s the Tagalog word for “Be Careful” or “Be Safe”.
Apologies for the gross pic. But that’s what you get if you don’t be careful around firecrackers this coming New Year. Saw this over at Facebook. Ugghhh!
So, let this be a public service reminder… let’s all be safe!
Happy New Year!
What Are Your New Year Plans?
The price of fruit is now escalating to insane levels as families scramble to prepare for the traditional “Media Noche”, the New Year’s eve dinner. So what are your plans for New Year? I recently saw on TV (news) that traffic is now bad at the Bulacan area since a lot of people are also trying to do last minute purchase of firecrackers.
Let me just warn you – TRY TO AVOID THE FIRECRACKERS. Me? I don’t spend a single centavo on firecrackers. There are many ways to make noise without risking your fingers.
Happy New Year – From gmtristan.com
I’ve scheduled this post to be automatically posted at 11:59PM tonight. This is my last post for the year.
And what a year it was! Thanks to all those who supported gmtristan.com in 2007. I had some ups and downs during my career and even while blogging. But the blog has helped me keep sane through all the months of hard work and stress. It’s an outlet to release some creativity in me and to help me share something I love with those with the same passion. I’m sure the Waukster shares the same sentiment. Hapy New Year, Carlo!
So, let’s raise our glasses for the coming New Year and bid adieu 2007! Here’s to more Girls, Games and Gadgets and more of gmtristan.com in 2008!

And since I can’t have real fireworks on the site, let’s make some noise with a video…
That, after the jump…
