Artificial Content

One of the problems of being a game publisher are (often) the lack of regular and steady content from developers. A lot of users often mistake publishers for being developers as well. For the record, a publisher is a company such as ours, Level Up. We are the ones who buy the game, license it and operate it in the country. We have the rights to market it and even host it in local servers. But we DO NOT have the rights to design, fix, or tamper with the game design or the codes in any way. That privilige belongs to the DEVELOPER – the ones who designed and program the game.

Dog Is A Victim of MMO Emo Relationship

Here’s something new we don’t see everyday. An obsessed online gamer gagged and bound his “virtual boyfriend’s” dog. Now, she’s currently in police custody and is charged with animal cruelty and attempted kidnapping. Accordin to this report by CNET, Kimberly Jernigan–a 33-year-old woman from North Carolina–”was apparently distraught after her online relationship with a 52-year-old man from Claymont, Del., came to an end.”

Accroding to the report, Jernigan was said to have “broken into the unnamed victim’s apartment with a Taser, a pair of handcuffs, a BB gun, her dog, and a roll of duct tape. He wasn’t there, so she waited. When the virtual ex arrived home he saw what looked like a laser beam projecting on his chest. He immediately fled the apartment and contacted the Newcastle County Police.”

Thanks to blogging and Google Adsense, last weekend (Saturday) was a glorious day! I got myself a brand new 22″ Hanns-G LCD monitor. At this price point (around P11,000.00) it already has HDMI output. This means that it will be High-Definition ready… ready for the future, baby! Yeah!

Gaming Legends

When we talk about “Legends”, these guys are of course, larger than life. People look up to them as role-models of the community. They idolize them due to their achievements, respect their views and often, follow them to the “ends of the earth.”.

These gamers may closely epitomize King Leonidas of the 300, one who will be the first one in a fight and the last one to leave.

What does it take to become a “Legend” inside the MMORPG or game that you play? Is it for everyone? In fact, is it easy at all?

Going For Quality

You may have noticed that I’m only posting at least 1 article a day. In the past few months, I’ve posted around 60. That’s at least 2 every day. I’ve even had a record of more than 90 posts – that was October of 2007.

Where’s this all leading? Laziness? Lost my drive?

Well, apparently not. I’ve decided to go for quality rather than quantity. And honestly, it’s not easy trying to figure out 2 to 3 NEW topics a day. So, there. I’ve said it.

I’ll try to slow down the pace a little (just a little, mind you). But expect more great articles, web finds and gems for me to share, ayt?
