Adsense for Dummies

As another contribution to Darren Rowse’s 31 Day Blogging Project, here’s my take and tips on how to make Google Adsense work for your blog. If you’re living under a rock, adsense is one of the more popular ways to monetize your blog. There are others, but if you’re new to blogging, start with adsense.

Let’s begin by answering the question: “WTF is adsense?”

Adsense ads are basically text or image ads that google puts in your blog. Depending on your blog content, advertisers pay google so that relevant topics, products, services and sites automatically appear on your blog or website. In turn, google pays you a reasonable commission based on the number of people who clicked and the number of hits on your site.

How to Make a Better Post

Hi there, peeps. Here’s another post for Darren Rowse’s 31 Day Blogging Project.

Last week, I tackled some tips on how to organize your blog contests. This week, I wanted to write a short article on how to make a good post.

Let’s start by identifying the elements of a good post. The first and most important would be the relevance of your post. Second, and equally important, is the composition length. You should be able to strike a balance between “Not too short” and “not too long”.
