China Fakes Life-Sized Japan Gundam

A couple of years ago, the Japanese built this 1:1 scale classic, RX-78 Gundam at Odaiba’s Shiokaze Park. This was done in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam.
Not to be outdone, China has erected a flimsy replica at Floraland park in Chengdu.

We all know how devastating the recent earthquake was to the country of Japan. As you may all know, Japan produces some of the top video games in the world. Games such as Mario, Metal Gear, and Final Fantasy were all brought to us by the Japanese.
That’s why some of the superstars of the gaming industry collaborated on a project to help Japan by producing a 1 hour video and you can help Japan by donating through their website. Top names of the gaming industry in this project include Tim Schafer, Will Wright and Sid Meier.

Surviving the Tsunami that hit Japan last March 11 is harrowing enough.
But real bad-ass Hideaki Akaiwa’s story doesn’t stop there. He will put Chuck Norris to shame.
When the tsunami hit, Hideaki was at work and left his wife at home. Dude couldn’t wait for the rescue team to arrive. So what does he do? He dons a SCUBA suit and swims INTO the tsunami towards his home to look for his wife while dodging debris, cars and parts of houses and bridges. He finds her clinging to dear life and rescues her. End of story? Just a warm up…
How To Help Japan Earthquake Victims

The March 11 Japan Earthquake was the strongest in that country’s recorded history. We all saw on TV and on the web the massive damage that the quake, the aftershocks and the tsunamis that followed did to our Asian neighbors. The death toll is rising and their country is in ruins.
With cooperation and the basic human desire to help our fellow man, we can survive this test… this too, shall pass. My prayers go to all the victims and their families.
I’ve compiled several ways where you can help our Japanese brothers and sisters who have been victims of this horrible disaster.

Sorry for this late post. I’ve been updating both at my Facebook Page and the official Ragnarok Facebook page on match results for Team Philippines. Yesterday was the start of the competitions for RWC 2010 here in Jakarta. After getting good pairings, me and the team awoke with enthusiasm to face the tough road ahead.
