It’s a Halloween weekend. I’m alone at home and somewhat bored. For my Saturday schedule, I’ll be going to the cemetary later and will watch a couple of scary movies on DVD. I’ll also catch up on finishing Brave Story on my PSP and will probably go online and check on my current MMORPG games and end up posting a couple more stories here in my blog and other sites.
Aside from that, it really is a slow-moving Saturday. Meanwhile, check out this simple game that I promise has an ending that I can’t spoil. I suggest you play it in full screen with the sound up!
Level Up Halloween Party 2008

Last Friday, Oct 31, we had a Halloween party at the conference room. We also greeted all our October birthday celebrants. The bash, organized by our HR department, had a cosplay contest and a video making contest wherein all departments had to submit a short, 2-minute creepy video.
Suffice it to say that our dept, Marketing, won the video contest. Yay! Gratz and thanks to everyone who contributed and helped in the video. Special mention goes to Neil of Creatives for the superb editing. You the man, dude! Meanwhile, Chris D. of Product Dev won the cosplay contest dressed as Sadako of The Ring.

It’s the night before Halloween. What are you playing?
I remember back in the ’90s when Resident Evil and Silent Hill would scare the beejezuz out of me. Nothing beats playing survival horror in a cold, dark room, by yourself. Gaming sure had those ‘jump-out-of-your-seat’ moments.

Top 5 Scariest Video Games

In the spirit of Halloween, I thought I’d share with you some of the scariest video games that I’ve played so far. Some are old games (classics) while some are fairly new.
Before the list, I hope that all of you take care as you go to the cemeteries to remember our loved ones. Be mindful of the law (no alcohol, no fighting, no loud music, etc.). Traffic will be a bitch, I guarantee… so be prepared for some walking.
