All about the games in a bit…

Ok, I have to admit, I was home sick when I wrote this. Frankly, had minor “writer’s block” and couldn’t think of a blog topic to write about. So I chose to do think about the weirdest subject and how to integrate it to the blog.
With a little help from my best friend, Google, I googled Justin Bieber and Video Games and came up with a surprising discovery – there a LOT of flash and online games about JB. OMG! Now there’s a cool blog topic.
Onwards to Justin Bieber games….
It seems that Steve Jobs is slowly seeing the realization of his dream. For the iPad, the iPhone and the iPod to be recognized as true gaming devices.
This Christmas, a lot more kids want the iPad and the iPod as a preferred game media gift. According to a recent study made by Nielsen and published by 1UP said that “31 percent of children ages 6 to 12 wanted an iPad within the next six months, while 29 percent wanted an iPod Touch. Both lead the Nintendo DS, which lead all traditional consoles with 25 percent. A survey of teens (age 13+) came up with similar results; 18 percent of those polled said they want an iPad. The DS fell quite a bit with that age group though, polling at 8 percent. Instead, the Nintendo Wii was the top traditional console at 15 percent.”
Ok, if you have an old Nintendo NES or Super Family Computer, you can relate to the clip above.
This is really cool. So, Pacquiao’s a gamer? Well… he could be. His name on a boxing game is definitely a good idea. Maybe they can start even on Facebook or something… and that will add to his coffer for sure.
Anyways, enjoy the clip. I won’t be surprised if a real Manny Pacquiao boxing game is in the works! Have fun in today’s Holiday. Peace!

The story tells a tale about two top executives who started out as gamers. Among them is Elliot Noss, chief executive of domain name provider Tucows, and 20-something Stephen Gillett, a gamer who became chief information officer of Starbucks. Both have applied leadership principles acquired through their own video game experiences.

Video games, let’s face it… are a guy thing. So are beer and booze.
No wonder a lot of us mix both our favorite things. Some drink while gaming when in a social activity, like parties or get-togethers. Dorks can only expect booze as company in lieu of the girls. Sigh.
But do games really get better with alcohol? Let’s see…

Who says gaming can’t make anyone better?
Ben Michaels, 5, of the United Kingdom has been diagnosed with Lazy Eye Syndrome, a disorder of the visual system that is characterized by poor or indistinct vision in an eye that is otherwise physically normal. To correct this, his doctor advised him to play the Mario Kart with an eyepatch for two hours a day. This improved his sight significantly by 250%
