Some of my friends and fellow bloggers have recently organized the upcoming Visayas Blogging Summit 2010. As a blogger, I promised them that I’d help them spread the word. The annual event will be held (this time) at Iloilo on November 27 at the SM Cinema 8. The Visayas version of the Philippine Blog Awards would also be held on the night of the 27th.
Good friends from the online and blogging network just organized the Make Money 2.0 seminar.

Yesterday, I just flew back from Cebu from the wild and successful Visayas leg of the LIVE 2009 Regional tour. I promised to post some updates and pics, but allow me to catch up first and blog about the Baguio leg first, our Luzon kick-off of the LIVE 2009 Regional tournaments for all major Level Up games. This is way overdue… am so busy.
Me and the rest of the LU GMs went up to Baguio last June 13 and 14 for 2 days of intense PVP and tournament action. The Level Up site already announced the highlights and the official list of winners.

Yesterday, the Rohan PH team launched the newest server – AKHMA.
Akhma, the fifth server for Rohan, joins the other four: Torian, Silva, Syrephis and Marea.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making the Rohan OBT launch a HUGE SUCCESS! Note that we are doing our best to take care of the lag, latency, and disconnection problems.
Coming this April is our latest patch for FlyFF Online: Version 13.
In this post, allow me to share with you some teasers on one of the main highlights of the patch, Coral Island. Coral Island is a cash map, just like Azria before. You just have to buy a ticket from the Item Mall to take advantage of the great monsters, drops and EXP… not to mention the cool scenery.

A lot has happened yesterday. Most people here in the office were wary about sudden e-mails, dubious plurk posts, blog posts and even status messages in YM or MSN.
Such is the nature of April Fools Day.
You really can’t trust anyone… otherwise, the joke’s on you. I started a seemingly innocent plurk post about my supposed negotiations for an Oz World (our first online game) movie or TV series. Hehehe. I think I got some people to believe it.
Meanwhile, most people placed “I’m resigning” in their YM status messages. Kinda dangerous coz ever since the global crisis, your joke could become reality. Oh well… after the break, I’ll show you what pranks top companies like Google, Yahoo or Microsoft did for April Fools.

Ragnarok Philippines has always been close to my heart… I’m sure it’s also close to yours.
Maybe 9 out of 10 Pinoy MMORPG players started with Ragnarok, the game that ushered in the birth of the online gaming revolution in the country. And now, thanks to the efforts of my new RO Brand Manager, Ryan Sacares, his RO team and of course, to all peeps and departments in Level Up who helped in the project, we recently launched the YGGDRASIL LIF project - or the BALIK RAGNA campaign.
The premise is simple: Invite your old Ragnarok playmates/friends. If they return and top-up, you get corresponding points. Save those points and you can exchange them for FREE INGAME ITEMS which will help you in making your character stronger.
