It started with a trickle last night with the early bird campout. That trickle eventually turned to downpour as online gamers swarmed to the World Trade Center on day 1 of the Philippines’ BIGGEST and BEST online game event, LIVE 2007.

The line was so long that it reached out as far as to Macapagal Blvd. Sweet!

Thousands trooped to the WTC to witness the grand finals (and opening ceremony). The 4 games scheduled today were Pangya, Khan, FlyFF and Perfect World.

As expected, FlyFFers dominated the event while PW fanatics trooped in the afternoon to cheer for their own server rivalry as teams from both Dragon and Tiger duked it out for the Jade Nightingale, the trophy for Perfect World.

I arrived at around 7:30 and prepared for the opening ceremony. Those of you on the event would have remembered the REAL LIVE JEEP that we drove across the stage for a “shock and awe” effect.
