One of the best players in Crazy Kart Philippines is a blogger and is a talented artist too.
KendingKamias, who wowed me and other CK players during the CBT with his high level and great drifting skillz, has a blog – http://kendingkamias.com/ named after his avatar, of course. His blog covers most of his Crazy Kart adventures and discoveries. To add to his achievements, he recently won enough points to buy his own jeep during one of our in-game events. Gratz Kendi! Keep it up.
It’s been ages since I got someone to interview for Gamer Babe.
Good thing I found the perfect subject today. Meet Angiellee Reyes, or Jhelly Ace to her friends. Jhelly is an avid Ragnarok and Crazy Kart player. Aside from MMORPGs, her hobbies include surfing the net and singing. According to her, Ragnarok is “not just a game but a part of my life.”
She’s also active in the Agit sieges in Ragnarok and had some tough moments too.

Here, you’ll see actual in-game caps of the pinoy Jeepney in action. It really is a heavy thing! It’s also long, so drifting will take some getting used to. But once you get the hang of it, you’ll leave the others to choke on your diesel fumes.

Here are important information and links to help you play the Crazy Kart Open Beta test.
First, the OBT began on July 31, 2008. All closed beta avatars and karts will be wiped but the CBT accounts WILL NOT BE DELETED.
You can link your CBT account to your MyLevelUp so that it will become yours. From there, it’s easy to change your password. During our OBT, the shopping mall will now be open. This means that you can easily buy a Level Up prepaid card and top it up to purchase new karts such as the owner-jeep and the FX Megataxi. The ratio of top-up is 1 PHP = 10 Crazy Kart Cash.

You can race with your favorite Level Up GMs like Cydie, Chastity, Cassiel and the rest inside our newest online racing game, Crazy Kart.
We’re cross-promoting with our MMORPGs like Ragnarok, RF Online, FlyFF and Perfect World during maintenance days. Race with the GMs and get a prize! It’s as easy as that.

Okay, I’m sorry.
I’m sorry for not posting for a couple of days. It’s been a helluva week at work as the team and I were frentically all around trying to iron out the final touches for the Crazy Kart Open Beta last July 31 (Thursday). Good thing everything went without any major hitches.
It was agreed that we would NOT delete the CBT accounts and instead, all CB testers can just link it a Mylevelup and even change your password from there.
But the star of the show is really the debut of the PINOY JEEPNEY. I was one of the first guys to go inside the game and show off the cool jeep. At the moment, you can’t buy the jeep. It’s available for 150,000 gold – this means you’ll have to grind your way for it.
Crazy Kart is currently offline undergoing final preparations for the open beta on July 31. As per our announcement, we shall be deleting all CBT accounts. I know… some people may say “but I already have a high level character”. It’s standard practice for game companies to delete the contents of the CBT accounts (Update: We will only delete the avatars and the karts, accounts will remain). I mean, they are, after all, TEST accounts and were just given away to a limited few. Now, by Open Beta, all accounts will now belong to you (via registration at MyLevelUp) and yes, I promise, no more deleting afterwards.
Meanwhile, allow me to share what you’ll see once Crazy Kart goes back online for the CBT on Thursday.

The event was a huge success. It was even graced by the presence of Gaby Dela Merced, the country’s top female racer (iRL) as our special guest. Our friends from the media enjoyed an afternoon of racing with Gaby. In fact, in lieu of a traditional raffle, the press had to race for the main prize - a brand new Apple iPod Touch!
I’d like to thank everyone, especially Gaby, for attending and supporting the launch. Special thanks also to my bosses, CEO Jane Walker, Marketing Director Jake Sandiego and Gameboss Ben Colayco, of course.
And yes, what’s a racing event without race girls… here are our models, Chek, runner up for Mossimo Bikini Summit (left) and Ara who was once featured in FHM (right). Rawwrrr!

Yesterday, we just launched the new Crazy Kart website. We took down and replaced the old teaser site. But not to worry, all the videos (and more) will be a new, cool CK site. Check out the flash animation. Don’t forget to click on a karter and then grab the wheel (with your mouse) to find out!
