It seems that the current contest of RF Online, their RF Music Making Contest has some entries na!
In this contest, players can make a song, form a band (or solo) and then submit their songs for a chance to win up to P30,000 and their song be features inside the game as an official RF BGM.
The RF peeps have recently updated the RF music site with some new entries.
You can hear the new songs and even sing to them coz the lyrics are also posted there.

The theme for this week was The Positive Values of MMORPG: How Gaming Made Me a Better Person.
The past week was really tough for me and the pRO GM team. Really hectic, filled with issues and uber-stressful. Thanks to kind messages of people like SniperAngel who was there at the LUG office last week. Too bad I wasn’t able to say “Hi”. I’ll make it up to you guys next time k? (merienda? hehehe)
Anyways, there are great entries for this week. This project is now in it’s last week and soon we’ll all be voting for the winner. Apologies for not posting this kahapon because of I was busy with the issues and problems with RO and other games.

Oh yeah!
Lots of contests this month. First up is our Level Up LIVE 2007 side-events which feature cosplay, film-making, and art among others. I already posted a highlight on the filmfest a couple of days back. Also, I have my own Group Writing Contest where I’m giving away a 1GB USB drive and other cool stuff. Be sure to join that one too.
Now, RF has something in store for Novus citizens who have the gift for music. So, go ahead form your own band and rock the planet like crazy!
P50,000 big ones in total are up for grabs in this music making contest. Who knows? This might also be your ticket to stardom, the same thing that happened to Kamikazee when they composed Chicksilog for Ragnarok, eh?

At long last, I finally finished the mechanics of the Gaming Group Writing Project/Contest and I’m really excited to get the first few entries and to read up on them. I’ve already explained the goal of this project in a previous post.
We’re starting the contest officially today, Aug 13. As an overview, this will run for 6 weeks. Do check out the complete mechanics after the jump.

It’s been quite some time since I held my last online contest. Those sepcifically for the Perfect World beta was quite successful, if I say so myself. Though I previously posted some tips on how to hold your own blog contest, it’s time to put the words into action (yet, again).
This weekend, I’ll be musing over a group writing project which will be open for bloggers. The goal of this project cum contest is to help each other promote our individual blogs, our hobby and the industry as a whole. Basically, it will work this way: each week, I’ll be posting a theme that we can all write about. It will specifically focus on gaming, online and MMORPG experiences. Then, those who wish to participate can simply post back their entries with a linkback to the contest’s home page and then submit it to me.
Every week (hopefully Fridays) I will compiling a list of all those who submitted and be keeping track of those who submitted more than one entry per week. I’ll be posting it here as updates.
