I won’t lie. Surveys have reported a huge decline in blogs for the past two years. So, the question remains; “Is Blogging dead?”. For me, the answer is both a “yes” and a “no”. Read on.

More and more content today is being accessed through mobile; iPhones, iPads, Galaxy Tabs… the works. Currently, your blog (like mine) is most likely not optimized to load (and be read) on the small screen. Besides, having a mobile version of your blog will make it load faster and thus, your readers will more than likely stay and read more of your content. Here’s how to make a mobile version of your blog without any coding needed.

It’s been a while since I wrote some tips for fellow bloggers.
With the advent of social media (read: Facebook, here in the Philippines), it makes your articles, ideas or media (video and photos) a lot more easier to share. The question now is: are you utilizing these “sharing tools” to its full potential?

Halloween is turning out to be an extended vacation for most of us. Malacanang has announced that it has added November 7 as an official non-working holiday in observance of “Eidul Adha” (Muslim Feast of Sacrifice). Sweet!

First I’d like to thank all the organizers of iBlog 7 for a successful event. Props to Janette Toral for letting me be a part of this year’s iBlog.
It was nice to meet with old and new bloggers alike and to reconnect with my blogging friends. Anyways, as a follow-up of my talk, I’d like to share with you some key points (for the benefit of those who were not able to attend)…

When Yahoo acquired MyBlogLog I think a year ago, I thought that changes to the service would make it better. Yahoo acquired MyBlogLog in the interest of giving bloggers a solution to keep track of their community and to share common interests. I have been using MyBlogLog since the early days (2007) when I started blogging.
It offered visitors to your blog a chance to be included in that “box-with-a-lot-of-heads”.

Once in a while, it hits me… the dreaded writer’s block. I stare mindlessly at the empty, blank, monitor wondering what to write for my blog.
Blogging everyday is no easy task, thank you very much. For me, I usually blog around 2x in a week and use WordPress’ awesome scheduler to auto-post my articles even if I’m away and don’t have access to a computer or the Internet. Still, it’s a tough job. “What to write? What to write?” sometimes haunts me as I stare back at the still empty screen.
Good morning readers! Another exciting weekend perhaps for everyone?
Me, I’m off to the workshop to finish a couple of model kits. I think I now have some time to finish my mod build of the Han Solo in Carbonite project. After that, it’s probably off to the mall with the wife for some shopping and movies.
Let me do a quick blog post for you guys. Here are some memorable links that I came across this week…
