The driver of the ill-fated bus that exploded along Buendia and EDSA last Tuesday was named MAXIMO PELIGRO (Maximum Danger in English).
This was disclosed from news reports via the ABS-CBN website. Meanwhile, recent developments have it that the death toll has now risen from 4 to 5.
A show will do anything for ratings.

Below is the statement of President Gloria M. Arroyo regarding the blast yesterday at Glorietta mall, Makati.
The explosion happened at around 1:20pm at the area near the Luk Yuen tea house. I was deeply worried and I immediately called all my staff and friends who I know frequent the area. Thank goodness, everyone was safe. But I feel sad for the victims who died and the wounded. This is simply atrocious.
