StarCraft 2 Will Be Available As a Trilogy

The first person experience/campaign for StarCraft 2 for Terrans, Protoss and Zerg will not be available in one box.
Instead, Blizzard will offer each in a separate product, a trilogy. The first one will be StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty for the Terrans. A lot of comments and feedback from fans of the game called Blizzard “money grabbing @$$-hats”
“We’re aiming to push the boundaries of storytelling and character development in RTS games through the unique single-player campaign design of StarCraft II,” said Blizzard.
After the Terran campaign, the Zerg will most likely follow and after that, the Protoss.
Here’s the scoop from IGN:

@post:
Blizzard has always cranked out games worth purchasing so even if SC II spans 5 separate games I’m still buying (the originals, not pirated ones).
I never really got into the whole Starcraft thing, but I do know that it’s Korea’s national sport.
Kidding aside, SC2 is going to print money for Blizzard no matter if it comes in three or seventeen DVDs. Fans are just going to chew it up.
Starcraft 2 will be a trilogy :
- Because if we were to wait for blizzard to finalize the content for all the campaigns, it’ll take years before SC2 gets released
- Each of the campaign will have enough content to be branded as a separate game
- “Warhammer: Dawn of War” got away with it
Why SC progamers won’t care
- SC2 Wings of Liberty is enough to play multiplayer. New multiplayer units that will be introduced (if any) when the zerg and protoss campaigns get released will also be available for SC2WoL Multiplayer mode.
Why SC progamers will care
- Battle.net 2.0, HELL IT’S ABOUT TIME! LAN Latency ftw
- More noobs to eat on bnet
i’ve been waiting for Starcraft2. Trilogy pala ang release nila.
not that amazed with starcraft. warhammer dawn of war still beat the socks off starcraft.
really proves the classics always beat the copycats.
btw… warhammer 40k came out before starcraft
