The South Team (Blue) Women’s Volleyball and Basketball teams both clinched the championship crown in the recently concluded finals of the Level Up! Sports Festival. The event was held last December 3, 2007 at the ePLDT Ventus compound in Makati.

Claiming first-runner up for volleyball was the West team (Orange) and for men’s basketball it was the North Team (Red) which was comprised mostly of employees from the sales department. Meanwhile, the Most Valuable Player honors went to Phil Cahiwat (for volleyball) and to Ricky Puli (for Basketball).

Marissa Manaloto, team captain for the South Champion team was glad to have finally made it to the top. “We were always there for the games. Thanks to all my team mates. I’m happy we won. Yahooo!” she said.

Special thanks and kudos also go to Erwin Manansala and to Ime (belated happy birthday, btw) and the HR department for organizing and managing the logistics of the finals event.

Level Up even raffled not one, but TWO BRAND NEW FERRARIS for the lucky players and audience. Mark Minoza of ICT took home one of the Ferraris (Enjoy your new toy from Shell, dude!)
