Snack Hunting in Seoul
Whenever I go to a foreign country, one of the things that I like to do is go “snack hunting”. The US is a no-brainer. All those things I see on movies and TV, I eventually buy. When I was in Japan, my palette couldn’t stand the weird textures and flavors.
But being back here in joy brings nostalgia - in snack hunting that is. Hey! a gamer has to eat the right food, you know.
At any rate, when I was here last year for the Gravityfest, I would splurge on the local convenient store and buy one of each. Until I hit “the bomb”. I remember trying out an instant “Kimchi Rice” fare - now I know the better! No, thanks for me. The heat is just unbearable.
Meanwhile, one of my favorite is this onion ring below. I can’t read the label so I’ll just show it to you

It has the right texture, tanginess and “bite”.
Oh yeah, I finally got some Energizer batteries for my damn digicam.
What better way to test it than on Onion Rings and a lemonade drink, right? Hehehehe.
Later, I’ll grab more photos and then share.
Seeya!
