Setup for LIVE 2009, gaming’s biggest event, began yesterday. It’s exciting to see all the usual folks, the suppliers, the  agency, the guild booth owners and even early birds as early as yesterday. Yes! Thursday afternoon.

I got to chat with around 5 of the early birds last night and they wouldn’t budge. They’re excited about their first LIVE and they came from Batangas pa daw. They’re RF players btw! Woot!

I’ll be posting photos in a bit. I’m just using the wifi of WTC. Internet for the venue still being setup.

At any rate, all the rafters are filled with the streamers. The stage is rigged, the video walls all mounted, the old poring suits are already there, the sponsor area is also starting to come to life and community members are slowly rigging their own guild booths for Level Up City.

Meanwhile, all the stuff at the main registration area and lobby are already in place. The PCs, all 200 of ‘em! OMG! are also ready and just need final touches and cabling.

It really is exciting. Be ready for lack of sleep, awesome fun and 2 days of gaming and intense PVP/Tournament action.

As of this writing, my Head Judges are already rallying their players and checking them in at the hoteland in a little while, we’re going to have a briefing for tournament participants here at WTC.
