RF Online and Freestyle Cross-over Event

Every once in the while, some of the members of my team will think of innovative “cross-over” events. These events are, as you may have thought, quite rare since coordination between various parties, not to mention the developers, makes it doubly difficult.

Nonetheless, this new RF Online and Freestyle crossover will take advantage of the long downtime for RF this Feb 26. That’s the date that RF Online Crimson Dawn will patch and become online.

The mechanics are simple, if you’re an RF player, register a Freestyle account, make a character, level it, e-mail us and you’ll win 50 sets of elite gems for your RF character.

Props to new FS Community Manager, Toti for bugging me to approve this and doing most of the work and coordination. Of course, many thanks also to Game Manager RD, BM Hec of the Freestyle marketing team and to the RF and Game Ops teams.

Eligibility and Mechanics
- All Active players with existing myLU accounts that has a linked active RF Online account
- Player creates a NEW Freestyle account on February 26, 2008 9am onwards under his myLU account that has a linked active RF Online account
- Under the fresh and newly created Freestyle account, create a level 1 character and power play it to level 4
- Send an email to playfreestyle@levelupgames.ph with the subject Freestyle – RF Crossover with the following details:

    - myLU username
    - Freestyle username
    - RF username
    - RF Character Name

- The first 20 participants who send ALL 4 (four) details to playfreestyle@levelupgames.ph with the subject Freestyle – RF Crossover wins 50 Sets of Elite Gems

Duration and Schedules
- Event starts at February 26, 2008 9AM Onwards (Tuesday) until February 26, 2008 5PM (Tuesday)
- Deadline for submissions of entries is February 26, 2008 5 PM (Tuesday)
General Conditions
- Player must have an RF Online account
- Player must have a Freestyle account that was created on February 26, 2008 9am onwards
- BOTH RF Online account and Freestyle account is linked in a single myLU account
- An entry consists of an email to playfreestyle@levelupgames.ph with the subject Freestyle – RF Crossover with the following details:

    - myLU username
    - Freestyle username
    - RF username
    - RF Character Name
Winning Condition
- The first 20 valid participants who send COMPLETE details to playfreestyle@levelupgames.ph with the subject Freestyle – RF Crossover wins
Prizes
- 50 Sets of Elite Gems for the first 20 qualified participants

waaaa this is unfair!!! i’m in the office right now so I can’t play freestyle and avail of this crossover thingy… it’s limited.. why not extend the number of winners.. make it 500!!! waaaaaaaaaa
