RF Episode 2 Download and Install

Good news Novus Citizens! The long wait is finally over.

RF Episode 2 is finally now online in Omicron, RF Philippines’ test server.

Before we go to the details of Episode 2, let me help you by showing you the steps and instructions on how to install Episode 2 to your computers or cafes.

FOR THOSE WITHOUT OMICRON 1 TEST SERVER

If you DO NOT have an Omicron 1 test server but you already have RF Online. Here are the steps:

  1. Download the RF Episode 2 Client via the Level Up Site or via torrent (Note: it’s an almost 2 GB download so please be patient)
  2. After downloading, run the installer
  3. Make sure you install it TO A DIFFERENT FOLDER than your main RF Episode 1 folder (DO NOT OVERWRITE)
  4. Go to RF Episode 2 folder and create a shortcut for RF_TestServer2.exe (if you can’t find this, rename the RF.exe to RF_TestServer2.exe). Make sure this is the folder for Episode 2 (see #3 above).
  5. Put shortcut in desktop
  6. Click on the shortcut
  7. Start Playing!

FOR THOSE WITH OMICRON 1 TEST SERVER

Omicron 1 test server is STILL fully functional. But this will be now only be used by the RF team for the semi-finals of the NEST tournament. If you or your team have no more use for Omicron 1, you can overwrite the Episode 2 install to this folder. However, if your PC still has space, you can make a 3rd folder – the Episode 2 Omicron folder

  1. Download the RF Episode 2 Client (as per above)
  2. Run the installer after download completes
  3. Install it to the Omicron 1 Test Server folder (say “yes” to overwrite if Windows asks)
  4. Find the RF_TestServer2.exe, make a shortcut and put in your desktop
  5. Click shortcut
  6. Tada! Done!

After all this, the uber RF player or cafe will eventually have 3 separate clients – 1) RF (commercial worlds – Nexus, Altrax, Praxis) 2) Omicron 1 and finally 3) Omicron 2 with Episode 2.

    I all finished dl and install the rf online episode 2 crimson dawn. and also do the renaming of rf.exe to RF_TestServer2.exe and create shortcut to desktop. but when i launch the game it just say Connecting to Launcher update server then nothing happens next.
    i got an avira firewall. i allow the program to go to internet but as i check it out, rf cant get the remote ip server( i think thats the reason why).
    im not sure if im thinking it right or im not doing it right. whats the problem with this GM T

    i have a problem….na install ko na ung rf through bitorrent. Rf episode 2 yung dinownload ko.. wla ako nung episode 1 gagana ba yun?? kc nung tapos ng idownload lumabas na sa desktop yung icon, tapos nung pagkclick ko, lumabas yung -”connecting to launcher server update”, pero pagktapos ng 3-5 mins di pa rin gumagana….

    yeah me too…. i download the crimson dawn here at vancouver then, when the installation is finished,, i run the shortcut thing and the rf wont work!!!!

    OMG, bat sa pinas lang pwede. pano ung mga nag migrate ng US na gustong maglaro ng RF. pwede po bang gawan ng paraan toh. coz i play rf in the philippines and then nag migrate kami dito so naudlot ang paglalaro ko ng rf. gusto ko sanang ituloy dito that’s why im looking for websites na pwedeng madownload ung rf. and then when i read your article, it says pwede lang laruin ung rf sa philippines. pwede po bang gawan ng paraan to.     I am from Jakarta, Indonesia. I have try so many times to download the RF Episode 2 Client, but could not. Event the download process could not run and try to ping to the destination, it said request time out.

    Do you closed the connection that comes from Indonesia or outside Philippine?

    Could you please inform me about that problem?

    Nku! madali lng ang pag download noh! kso puro corrupted ang files un ang mahirap! kea paulit ulit dapat ang pagdownload para ma extract sa 1 folder! amf! pag na click mo na ng server, critical error lumlabas!ano bang klaseng site downloader yan!
