RF Episode 2 Download and Install

Good news Novus Citizens! The long wait is finally over.

RF Episode 2 is finally now online in Omicron, RF Philippines’ test server.

Before we go to the details of Episode 2, let me help you by showing you the steps and instructions on how to install Episode 2 to your computers or cafes.

While you’re waiting for the huge file to finish, please browse my other FREE games for download or check out a random GM TRISTAN SEXY GAMER BABE. Thank you.

Install information after the jump…

FOR THOSE WITHOUT OMICRON 1 TEST SERVER

If you DO NOT have an Omicron 1 test server but you already have RF Online. Here are the steps:

  1. Download the RF Episode 2 Client via the Level Up Site or via torrent (Note: it’s an almost 2 GB download so please be patient)
  2. After downloading, run the installer
  3. Make sure you install it TO A DIFFERENT FOLDER than your main RF Episode 1 folder (DO NOT OVERWRITE)
  4. Go to RF Episode 2 folder and create a shortcut for RF_TestServer2.exe (if you can’t find this, rename the RF.exe to RF_TestServer2.exe). Make sure this is the folder for Episode 2 (see #3 above).
  5. Put shortcut in desktop
  6. Click on the shortcut
  7. Start Playing!

FOR THOSE WITH OMICRON 1 TEST SERVER

Omicron 1 test server is STILL fully functional. But this will be now only be used by the RF team for the semi-finals of the NEST tournament. If you or your team have no more use for Omicron 1, you can overwrite the Episode 2 install to this folder. However, if your PC still has space, you can make a 3rd folder - the Episode 2 Omicron folder

  1. Download the RF Episode 2 Client (as per above)
  2. Run the installer after download completes
  3. Install it to the Omicron 1 Test Server folder (say “yes” to overwrite if Windows asks)
  4. Find the RF_TestServer2.exe, make a shortcut and put in your desktop
  5. Click shortcut
  6. Tada! Done!

After all this, the uber RF player or cafe will eventually have 3 separate clients - 1) RF (commercial worlds - Nexus, Altrax, Praxis) 2) Omicron 1 and finally 3) Omicron 2 with Episode 2.

Alrighty? Everything clear…

    GM T, ive done all that. i downloaded rf online episode 2, i renamed the RF.exe to RF_testserver2.exe,the patch was completed.then i made a shortcut in my desktop. then when i start playing it, it was ok but i cant change the game graphics.if i do change the graphics the game wont start.So,what i did is i used the default graphic settings. i was able to reach level 3 in the game but when i went to any of the shop or sellers to sell some items in my inventory the game would disconnect.I thought it was just our connection but when I tried again, it would really disconnect when i go to a shop or a npc merchant. why is that? what will i do??

    GM i had a cd given by level up it was the one that has 3 sets of discs in it where in it says its the giga final update…
    so i installed it the way the instructions on the cd indicates… and when i started patching the game didnt start and to make the long story reach the end quickly, ill just say it didnt work so i browsed the web looking for a solution and i ended up in this webpage, i found the information and data in it credible so im trying to follow the steps that u indicated and as of now i am still trying to download the RF Episode 2 Client by clicking on the links that u provided, i used my two pc’s to try the two links(no worries i have different internet providers for the two computer sets) anyways… up to this point nothing has changed with the download progress… both are still 0% and 0 B/s wihich could only mean im not having any progress with the download, i have PLDT my dsl on the other computer and DIGITEL DSL on the other…

    what will i do? huhuhuhuhuhuhu

    help plz…

    Pls use the latest RF installer. Once the game goes F2P, all old CDs will no longer work. Hence the errors

    weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee its working now!

    ep 2 was released yesterday and its working fine…
    a bit of lag in the beginning but it went all well…

    great game and although the jologs were able to play the game now(wala na load e)
    it still turned out well!

    Hi, my problem po ako so, i DL rf 2 w/c is 1.94 gb then i installed it abt 3.+ gb i just followed the instructions that GM T and the rf said provided.Like change the RFLauncher.exe to RF_TestServer2.exe then create short cut but when i run it, i only see connecting to update server please wait its like a small rectangle box. after that it disappears.. what seems to be the error here? pls help me tnx! really want to play rf….btw im from pRO-Baldur server

    Same problem here, downloaded client from LU site, installed in new folder, all clean so far right? Renamed rf.exe to rf_testserver2.exe and started paching 1261 file… when completed there was one more 1/1 patch and BADABAM!!! “Wrong downloaded file info” window pops up in my face!!!
    Can someone tell me what is it that I must do to get this damn game running??!?
    I am trying my ass off for 5 days without 1 second of gameplay so far, nothing but errors >:(
