Review: Switchplanet

They say that “one man’s trash is another person’s treasure”. This old saying is definitely true in switchplanet.com.

Switchplanet.com, a new online services promises to bring people closer through and innovative and cool system: build a network through one’s collection of music, movies, games and books. What a novel idea, if I may say so myself.

The concept works like this: members can connect with each other to discuss their favorite or least favorite DVDs, CDs, Video Games and Books…and through these connections even pass on the experience, good or bad, by switching these same items across the network…all for FREE!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Basically, deals are made via a special measuring tool called the “switchbuc”. When the items you send are received the switchbucs are automatically credited to your account.  Once you have some switchbucs you can go request something you want from another member. It’s that simple.

Joining and registering is also seamless and painless. Once you’re in, you may immediately begin searching members stuff for either “most swtiched”, “most wanted”,  or “most available”. Categories are also organized via DVDs, CDs, Games and Books.

With thousands of members and thousands of stuff, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for. Join switchplanet now and start discovering new stuff in exchange for yours!

I’m already a member and I hope to be switching stuff around pretty soon…
