Finally, after long hours of hard work, tension, suspense and drama (it’s like a telenovela – really!), the official Philippine Team for the RWC 2007 (Ragnarok World Championships) are ALL SET TO GO!

Wauks just texted me the good news that the Korean embassy finally gave them their VISAs!

Special thanks goes out to Waukster, Milton and our Executive Assistant, Eileen for helping out in getting the requirements. Way to go, guys!

Anxiety was also high in the office the past few days since the RP team were here practically everyday. I’d like to say thanks to their manager and leader, Milton, for sacrifing a HUGE chunk of his time just to make sure that this thing pushes through.

As you may well know, after talking to guild leaders, players and watching the Philippine team in action, we truly have a good chance of making it in the RWC this year!!!

The boys also promised me that they’ll work hard to achieve their dreams. During the lull in between waiting for the Korean consul, we chatted about strategies during the last RWC and I gave them tips and “lessons learned” from my experience with the Philippine Team back then.

The boys, Milton and some guildmates (who also are my friends – Marlou and Kevin aka Leic) will be leaving with Waukster later tonight for Seoul. The RPC begins on Saturday July 20 to 21.
