Ragnarok: Official Poll on Dupe Issue

Hi,

If you’re asking if I heard about the Freya incident last night… I did. A lot of players called me late at night and told about the insane amount of boss cards being dropped in Prontera.

We are aware of the matter and we are now doing steps to solve the issue. In the meantime, I would like the community to help us by answering a simple poll on the controversial issue.

Go ahead and take your stand here.

    sa tingin ko po.. i ban po yung account ng duper, wag po ung mga nag loot lng kagabi, kc na temp lang po cla. I mean sino po ba hindi pupulot pag nagpaagaw ng Gr cards right? If you saw what happened last night and kanina, kulang kulang 200+ players ung nakiloot, malaking amount ng players po un, if your planing to ban them all.

    cguro maraming magagalit na mga players specialy ung mga baguhan na players na nakiloot ng mga boss cards
    kasi para sa kanila minsan lang sila magkaroon non.

    for sure maraming mag QUIT na !!!!

    Like I said… the reason for this poll is to see what the community’s reaction to the issue and if ever they will support our move. Everyone here agrees that DUPED items are really unfair and should be deleted. I merely want to get the “state of Midgard” at the moment, k?

    GM, u should delete the duped items, it’s not fair kahit newbies sila. kasi mahirap kmuha ng gr or other boss cards. as the saying goes “if u give a man a fish he can eat for a day, if u teach a man to fish then he can survive for a lot of days” diba so sana ganun. hnd kse tlga fair pag pabayaan mo lng, tnx ah! pte GM may e ask lng ako pero hindi related sa topic sa taas.. pde po 2lungan mo ako sa prob ko about sa higpriest ko po sa iris server nwala po i have proofs po na mrn akong char na ganun,, msg me lng po sa account ko,, urgent po,, pinaghirapan ko un eh! hnd 2loy ako mkasali sa RPC… im from team majesty..tnx.

    short term suggestions lng:

    1) trace where dupe starts
    2) search database for all chars of same ip address
    3) permanently ban chars of guilty suspects
    4) dont roll back server (kawawa bumibili sa hypermart)
    5) delete items that were duped

    long term:

    napaka dali bumalik sa RO ng duper na yan. at dahil marunong cya mag dupe, napakadali yumaman ulet. so all he has to do is make another char and dupe again. so cycle lang ang mangyayari.

    what has to happen is LUG should trace ip address of duper and have him jailed. consult your lawyers kung anong pwedeng ikaso sa bwetreng yan!!!

    The priority is to find a LONG-TERM solution to the dupe item issue. Doing just a rollback and deleting the items will NOT solve the issue if the dupers are still able to do it. My instructions to the pRO team is to find and identify the cause of the dupe, and stop it once and for all. For game balance and integrity and of course, service to you, our players, there is nothing less that is to be accepted – a final and immediate mandate to find a complete solution to the dupe exploit is on top of my list.

    I agree with some you… simply doing short-term solutions is not acceptable. Trust that we will do our job for the greater good.

    What a bunch of immature brats these dupers are, trying their damn best (worse?) to upstage Level Up! just because they’re not getting what they want. Feeling naman magaling sila na players. Reminds me of a certain mayor who relishes in allowing rallies in a business district just to irk the administration. No wonder he’s still donning a boy scout uniform.

    just like what pogiki said, trace all the duped accounts to their main account. ban or delete all of them. don’t be blind and deaf just like what you did on Baldur where you banned those famous dupers only to find out that you unbanned their main accounts just after a few days. great move huh? don’t deny this LUG. everyone in Baldur knows this. it’s a shame you try to hide it and act like you’re all anti duping when in fact you support such people by unbanning their main accounts. jeez

    Amf na yan maraaing nadamay sa mga mga ung2s na dupers, ibig sabihin di pa ganun katibay ang database ng LUG db? simpleng duper kayang kayang gumawa ng palpak sa server niyo amf WTF /pif. Pustahan tayo GM din ng LUG ang may gawa niyan /gg. Balato naman diyan hehehehehehe ^_^

    Hehehehe, kitams bukayo db? kasi di na makapg PHP ang mga GM aminin!!!!! kaya nag du-dupe nalang hehehehe dali lang naman mag dupe kaso maraming madadamay db? sa private server nga nagagawa na yan dupe items na yan amf try nila sa LUG aw gumana /gg. sigurado ko mayaman na ung duper na yun hhehehehe Balato naman /gg

    Talap pala to ditz, kasi pede ka mag comment ng kahit ano/gg, kasi pag na hack ka sa PRO wala naman ginagawa mga GM ng level up pano kasi sila rin ang nang ha-hack Ouchhhh!!! sablay yata /gg, kaya minsan nakka tamad ng mag PRO mas masarap pa sa private server ma hack ka man madali lang bumawi sandaling oras lang bawi mo na na hack sa iyo take note: la pang load at updated pa/gg. Kaya kunting ayus naman diyan sa LUG ok? Kayu kayu nalang naglolokohan pa /gg. Ouch!!!!! may tinamaan yata hehehehehe Di na pa lvl an habol ngayun lalo na ng mga taong nag wo-work sa LUG ano pa eh PHP mode hirap yata ng buhay ngayun, ano ba namang kaunting gamit at boss card php ng GM o di ba kinabukasan lang bago na naman cellphone db? Ouchhhh Sowee nabukayo yata…. ^_6

    my alam kung sino nag pasimula nun !! ang masasabi kulang trace nila yung nag simula nun!! ang pag kaka aalam ko mga taga buracay ang gumawa ng dupe kasi sa pravate server na nilalaro an ko dati yung mga taga buracay na player halos all godz item!! na try ko narin na mag buy ng dupe item nila in PHP!! kung sino man GM dyan na makakabasa ni2 try nio search sa mga taga buracay player tignan nio kung sino sino ang mga mamayaman dun balita ko isang shop sila!! kung d nio resolbahan kayo rin ang malulugi at baka yan pa ang dahilan na mag down ang ragnarok!! ilove ragnarok gusto kupang 2magal hangang 2manda tau dba!!!
