Ragnarok: EXP Extension, Dupe Compensation, Item Sales

Just like I posted a couple of days back about the “blanket compensation” for the pending dupe case, we just announced via an official statement which I am re-posting below.

And that’s not all! The 2X EXP is extended until Aug. 22, 2007. Also, to add more fun, we’re having 50% off on BubbleGum and the Field Manual at the pRO Hypermart.

And it’s a holiday on Monday, August 20, so don’t forget to catch up on your leveling in time for Rachel (Episode 15) which launches on September (1st week).

Here’s the official statement on the dupe compensation:

After our Dupe Wipe compensation, we are proud to announce that we have processed 90% of those who filed tickets/requests. Still, there are pending cases which we cannot process due to some limitations in the records and the database.

However, we are pleased to announce that we will be awarding zenny commensurate to the value of the items lost by players with pending cases involving the dupe wipe. We have scheduled our awarding to finish by September 19, 2007. We call on everyone affected by this to be patient. Zenny amount shall be at the discretion of the investigating Game Master (GM) as supervised by the pRO Game Manager.

We apologize to all who have been inconvenienced by this matter especially to those who have been waiting for some time now. We assure you that we are doing the best we can to root out the cause of this problem permanently. Thank you for your patience and understanding.     hello GMT gus2 ko lang po malaman kung meron pa pong DUPE WIPE OUT??? Bec. im so scared dahil nakabili na ako ng mga equips ko baka po mawala at wala panaman ako Screen Shot..

    make a screenshot now and email it to yourself or put in a flickr account. Anyways, no wipe plans at the moment. The key to this problem is 1) making sure the server does not crash anymore and 2) gravity making a permanent solution so that people cannot dupe forever.

    We’re working on this even as we speak :)

    I do hope dupers get punished. It’s like pirated stuff, and they cause the game to be imbalanced.

    Maybe you could do another wipe to be sure.
    Oh, and will you release the names of Big Time Dupers?
    That’ll surely put a sock into the mouths of liars who claim they play clean, when in fact they don’t.

    so if you bought something and it was a dupe, all we have to do is to take screenshots and it will be compensated accordingly? what if the same thing happened like last time?

    in all, we can buy anything as long as theres a screenshot?

    Is it true na nag-ban na po kau nag mga international ip address?? kasi po hindi na kami mka-conect sa RO kanina lang naglalaro pa ako around 2 pm Mountain Time tapos na DC ako bigla then d na ako makapasok… pati pRO site d ko na ma access… e2ng game na nga lang nilalaro ko para mwala lungkot at pag ka homesick ko eh tapos ban nio pa kami pls wag po…

    if may Screen Shot kami ng Gamit namin kaso nung deal ang wala eh macocompensate pa ba kami ??..

    bec. kung magkakaroon pa kayo ng dup Wipe eh panu naman kami mga bumili ng Item W.out Screen Shot. :( … like me na walang screen shot to my Deal :(

    it;s 2:17 am here at shelley,idaho and im blogging marami din kaming mga ORP(Overseas Ragnarok Players) baka kala nio.. we pretty much make pRO run in somehow no.. parang katulad ng nangyayari sa economy ng pilipins… kapag nagpapadala kami ng pera jan.. malaki ang impact sa economy.. prang sa pRO malaks kami bumili ng load .. where pretty much the cash merhants best friend… i dont know what will happen if that thing is taken away from us.. amf kau LU .. konti na nga lang players sa pRO lalu nio pa binawasan … YOU SUCK!!

    sir, about sa dupe compensation. wala naman po nakompensate sa amin(mga ka-guild ko at friends sa RO), sabi lang ng customer agent nyo ndi daw nagma-match yung SS sa data nyo sa LAHAT ng mga kakilala ko n ngfile ng ticket. samantalang puro orig ang mga SS pinadala namin, complete with time/date, name ng ka-trade. tapos mgkakaroon ulit ng dupe wipe… hayys.

    hayz nako GM ang tagal na ng gamit ko d pa ba mababalik yon. and if ma compensate nyo yon.. san kayo mag base ng price?
    kac magkaiba ang price ng ibat ibang server… what if kulang yong compensation diba….
    paano kami maka buy ng items na yon ulit…
    na kung tutuosin d naman namin kasalanan yon.. where paying to play tapos ganito lang?

    Hi GM T. theres a news that only June 15-july 15 filed tickets will be given a blanket compensation? My ticket filed on July 25,becoz i stop playing since Jan 07. So my items will be totally losed? T_T /sob
