Ragnarok: Episode 15 Arunafeltz/Rachel

Thought I’d share with you some game features of the upcoming latest patch to Philippine Ragnarok Online.

It’s Episode 11.1 “Rachel” in iRO. Here, we use a different methodology for the episode numbers and we’re calling it Episode 15: Arunafeltz (or Rachel din. No final name yet)

According to the patch entries in iRO, here are the different feature list for Rachel:

1. Background Story – well, the Schawrzald Republic was recently added to Rune-Midgard’s allies. It is believed that their “weird science” holds the key to the world’s future. Anyways, explorers headed west of this land and discoverd the forgotten continent of Arunfeltz and it Holy capital, the city of Rachel. The main attractions to Arunfeltz are the Ice Caves (new dungeons) and the secret knowledge imparted to adventurers – the art of enchanting items with further enhancements (Slotting your own weapons! Yawza!)

2. Locations:

  • City of Rachel – the capital of Arunfeltz. The nation’s center for politics and religion. Explore the serene and quiet city surrounded by savannah fields and green grasslands…
  • Dungeon – Ice Cave/Holy Ground

3. Item Slot (Enchanting System)

According to the pRO Future Wiki:

The Slot Enchant system is a new system in RO that allows players to add new slots to existing gears. While only certain gears can be upgraded, a variety of new items are available only through the use of this system.

When slotting an item, the item cost and success rate varies based on the type and aproximate rank of the item and you wish to upgrade. The equipment you are upgrading is completely destroyed and you are made a new one in its place should you succeed. This means that any upgrades, cards, or other modifiers applied to the original equipment will be lost durring the enchantment. If the upgrade fails, the items and zeny are completely lost.

Only certain gears can be upgraded, and some items will show different properties than the items you were initially slotting.

Note that these features are from iRO and from the unofficial RO future wiki. Features, stats, costs and specs are subject to change once we put the episode in Sakray (which will be soon… yep, this MONTH – JULY!).

    The NPCs are in the old cities. Re the nueralizer, the RO team is working on it. At sa stat reset, no news on this yet. But I will update once may balita dito

    magrerelease po ba LU! ng installer ng Rachel? i dropped by teh LU! office last tuesday and wala pa daw at this time.

    I read from Waukeen’s Blog that LU! will not be releasing a CD installer for Rachel Patch. How come LU! will not be releasing a CD patch? I don’t know if this is the right place to tell this but most of the players I know are STILL playing with a dial up connection and it will be hard for them to download a 60++mb file. Did any of the LU! officials consider this?

    Yes. We are not making a CD installer for this. We apologize for some of our customers using dial-up. The cost of the CDs is too much to justify for a small MB size (as compared to other episodes, po).

    But should you need the 60MB file, you can go to any of our internet cafe partners and ask them to burn you a copy. It is already available for download. Will update this on a post separately.

    About the internet cafes that your so-called partners. CDs are so expensive there. Kahit nakalagay na ung prices sa CD mismo. Like the Hugel CD. If you can still remember me. I collect the load cards that I posted in RB before and you even showed us the oldest one. Anyway, am also collecting the CD installers that’s why am also after tese installers. As of now, I have 10 (ten) different installers am not sure if these are the only released installers. Am hopefully, the marketing dept. will release this cds before the release of the episodes. Like the way you had before. Even posters you gave them. I know am not an expert of advertising, but I think you want to sell your products this is one way of doing it. How could others play the game, if they don’t have this cd? I know a lot of OLD players wanted to come back but this is always there problem.

    Again, thanks for coming back and congratulations. Am not sure if this is a promotion for your part. But accepting this job again (because of a lot of problems) tells me that you also love this game.

    It is also a good strategy combining the Rachel Patch + The Ragnarok Music Limited Edition (forgot the name) you guys released.

    Try asking sa Ragnaboards, your co-players in your area maybe know available CDs pa..the only way I can think of is for you to download the whole Hugel patch..

    Sir Tristan bakit naman po nawala yan mga yan sa patch,kasi po gaya sakin luma gamit ko installer tapos patch ko lang,now di ko na malaro ragna,eh halos wipe na installer ng ragna,rare na hindi na ako makakita. please help me naman po about sa bagay na toh gusto ko na talga mag valkyrie /sob

    ano b yan! i’m confused. inconsistent ung terms d2 sa article. ano ba talaga, ARUNAFELTZ (as mentioned sa title and 2nd paragraph), ARUBAFELTZ (as mentioned sa image link), OR ARUNFELTZ (as mentioned sa paragraphs after the image link)?

    oh by d way, how come i’m always getting sprite errors when i play? wala bang new patches to fix it?

    i downloaded the newest valkyrie patch, pagkatapos kong e-patch click ko po yung start game, tapos po magpapatch yung gameguard, tapos lalabas n lng po yung window ng RO pero biglang mawawala… anu po ang kailangn kong gawin…

    hindi po ako makanap ng installer ng hugel.. tinry ko n po sa mga ministop, sa dataventure, chaka netopia, lagi nila sinasabe n wala pa raw available.. di po b un pwede idownload? ang tagal ko na pong naghahanap.. namimiss ko n maglaro.. help naman po oh..

    GM Tristan, i dont have a RO client. so i downloaded all the necessary files to run pRo (RO1, data3.cab and data4.cab). after downloading the waiting for hours. finally its all done! the problem is… almost half-way in the installation process. it requires data5.cab to continue the process? uhm.. im wondering.. is there any files needed to download that i missed? because, those are the only files i could search.

    Need Help Please.

    bkit po diko ma download ung rachel? evrytime click ko ung link nun lagi lumalabas “connection has timed out” samantalang ung ibang patch pede nmn. badtrip talaga wla nba kau lam na ibang source ng rachel patch? cra yata ung sa LU eh.
