Ragnarok: Chaos Finally a Champ!

After several years of drought from any major pRO trophy, the first and the oldest server in Philippine Ragnarok Online, Chaos, has finally bagged its first major title.

Armada, who defeated another guild from Chaos, Sustainer of the Realms (an ally both from the uber-Chaos Alliance conglomerate - led of course by legendary “Kuya” and pRO leader, makmak641) is now the official Philippine Team to the 2007 Ragnarok World Championships!

The 7 man team of Armada will fly to Seoul, Korea to compete for the RWC on July 21 to 22, 2007!

Last June 23-24, the entire gaming community stood still and watched in awe as the best teams from all over the country fought each other for the right to represent the Philippines in the Ragnarok Word Championships. The tournament was done online and the various teams played from their favorite internet cafes. Prior to the matches, Level-up interviewed some of the Team Captains on how they prepared for their matches. The teams treated the tournament as if it were the Olympics, as they trained night and day for months to make sure that they were at their peak come tournament day.

Right now, team Armada, led of course by another pRO legend, “Leic” - uber-Guildmaster of Armada, are now busy making preparations for the RWC. Waukeen, Brand Manager for pRO will be fly with them to Seoul to give support and guidance. Aside from preparing passports, visas and documents for the Seoul trip, the team is scheduled to do practice sessions in an “undisclosed location”.

Let’s all give them our full support and prayers. I’m confident that this is OUR year… the year that the Philippine flag will be supreme in an international competition.
