Ragnarok 2 Legend of the Second Korean CBT This August

We’ve been waiting for this game for some years now. It’s been one of the most-often asked questions to me by players and RO fans nationwide.

Ragnarok 2 has renamed their version from “Gate of the World” to “Legend of the Second”. Now, there’s news, according to MMOSITE.com and from the spanking new RO 2 website about a South Korean CBT date, August 31, 2010.

According to mmosite, “Gravity has recently announced to launch Ragnarok Online 2′s brand-new version – Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of The Second. The class system, card system and pet system featured in the original are all improved in the new version, and with the introduction of several unique great systems, players will be able to enjoy more gaming fun. Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of The Second is set to start its first closed beta test on Aug. 31.”

Moreso, “According to Won Seok Choi, CTO of Gravity, Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second is the result of their analyses on the original’s strong & weak points and the players’ requirements, as well as their thorough modifications in the old version. The new version will bring players more interesting gaming experiences.”

Developed using the Unreal Graphics Engine 2.5. They’ve also released the PC specs for RO 2 a couple of years back. Be sure to see if you’re ready.

That’s all the news so far for RO 2. So, if the Korean closed beta is on August, I hope it won’t be long before we get to see it really soon!

    Sana Gmtristan pay 2 play na walang item mall para mas masaya. imbalance na kasi ang economy pag may item mall sa una masaya kasi libre pero pag tagal tagal na boring na kasi hindi na balance ang economy at ang game play iba na.. parang kung sino ang mapera sila na ang magagaling.. sariling opinion ko lang. pero sabagay kung ang company naman ang pipili xempre yung may item mall kasi andun ang pera $$$$ hehe. pero madali masawa kasi luge ang mga walang pera haha. since gamer ka naman po naiintindihan mo naman yan :D

    agree ako kay gabzzz…boring na ang laro pag may item mall…hindi kasi fair pag may item mall..ang mga noobs na mapera bili nalang ng bili ng gamit..mas ok na nalang p2p kahit 100/week pa.. hehe

    agree din ako kay necxz sana walang item mall para masaya lahat ng players, walang mayaman, walang mahirap. kailangan pantay-pantay lang, mapera man o hindi.
    Dapat lahat nag tsa-tsaga. pinag hihirapan, hindi bibili na lang ng bibili kung may pera.

    Kasi sa mga company Marketing Strategy nila yun kaya naiiba ang laro, tsaka ng diskarte.

    awtz… sana lalabas ulit.. i played RO2 gates of the world.. sana balance na ang mga characters and lalabas na ang 2 race na inde pa available hanggang ngayon.. fix na ang monsters.. sana wala nang ghost monsters dun 70+ na map and sana may pang 90+ na map.. pif.. at kung may item mall man lang, sana ibat ibang klase ng potions at level booster lang ang meron… yung mga equips sana quest lang.. gusto ko talaga ang RO2 kaso di masyado ayos yung gates of the world..

    hmm. interesting, but i don’t know if it will be enough to get the more jaded MMO players interested again. a lot of us eh nagsawa na eh… especially if this is gonna be another “grinding” game.

    the true successor of Ragnarok will be Lime Odyssey.
    The Old RO devs of kRO mass resigned and joined Sirius entertainment. which the maker of Lime Odyssey.

    Technically Speaking. This would be R.O.S.E. 2 + Ragnarok Theme.
