POGS 2008 Event Coverage

Yesterday, Jan 13, I was at the Trinoma mall in QC where the POGS 2008 Reroll event happened.

I arrived at the venue a little past lunch time. I was surprised at the long line that stretched all the way to the entrance. I wondered where it led? Was glad that it led to the Level Up booth (kewl!) where scores of gamers scrambled to complete their passports and get the chance to win the brand new Nintendo DS.

Thanks to everyone from LU who made this event happen. To Joie and Pam, who are always there to make sure that all things were ready. To CJ, Jhay and everyone at the events team. To all my Brand/Marketing people who attended, GM Atma, GM Cydie, GM Kumiko and to every member of the LU team who pitched in to help.

At around 4pm, I joined Gamer Babe Pam at the stage where we raffled off RF Jackets and Porings. A little later, we raffled off the Nintendo DS.

The lucky winner was Adrian Desiderio! Gratz dude!

@ x0rr: It’s the Intel booth. Intel brings a few high end PCs with steering wheel controller etc and networks them together. Then Intel runs a networked racing game where participants can race head to head.
