Play as Darth Vader in The Force Unleashed?

I was surfing the web, monitoring developments for one of the games on my “anticipated” list - Star Wars The Force Unleashed when I came upon an interesting discovery.

According to a post at Gaming Today, it seems that Darth Vader is indeed playable in The Force Unleashed. “It’s cool enough that you get to play as Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, but it looks like you’ll actually get to play as ol’ tall, dark, and scary himself also.” as quoted from that report.

Set to be released in Q2 of 2008, The Force Unleashed has some amazing graphics and an equally kick-ass trailer (see below). The game will be available for Xbox 360, the Wii and the Playstation 3

wow so sa wii din pala marerelease din weeeeeeeeeeeeee. lahat ng startwars game halos meron ako.. pati yung LEGO version ng startwars pinatulan ko e hahaha.. peropnag pc.. meron ka po ba GMT na lego?(for pc) want it? ahahha… shhhh baka dyan si mr papaya (edu manzano)

my borothe and i are planning to buy a wiii.. we are torn between ps3 x360 or wiiii… pero waa kanian punta mesm tanogn ko kano ps3 game 3k-4k whaahahahhahahahaha… kayo po GM T? wii., ps3, or xbox 360? thanks!

i have mixed feelings about this. i think i’d rather much be the apprentice and save his behind.

I’m happy enough with the Lego Star Wars Complete Saga. At least there, the Force is a lot more realistic than the godlike powers so blatantly demonstrated in The Force Unleashed. C’mon, if the Jedi were really that powerful, then how could they allow themselves to be annihilated by clones of Bobo Phatt?

Next thing you know, the Jedi will start causing stars to go supernova with the lifting of an eyebrow…
