Some folks over at PC Gamer claimed to have received an email from Popcap that said to “save the date” for August 2, 2010.

Meanwhile, Kotaku claims that Popcap co-founder John Vechey told them; “I promise your readers there will be a Plants Vs. Zombies 2 in the next one to 10 years,”

So, who’s right? There’s not much stuff on the net about the new features of the sequel.

But rest assured that me (my wife) and millions of other PVZ fans will wait anxiously in anticipation.
