Good news everyone!The open beta client is now ready for download. You can install Perfect World simply by clicking on the following links:

• Setup 1 of 4 (600MB)
• Setup 2 of 4 (600MB)
• Setup 3 of 4 (600MB)
• Setup 4 of 4 (526MB)

Download all 4 setup files before installing it!

You can also download Perfect World thru our DVD client at:
Perfect World DVD Client (2.27GB)

If the files are missing or there’s a problem, check out the official Perfect World Philippines site.

Here’s the installation instructions:

Place the Perfect World Open Beta Installer Disk 1 into your CD-ROM drive. The Perfect World Installer program should run. If it does not, click on the Perfect World icon in your CD-ROM drive.
Once the menu appears, click on “Install”
Choose a directory to install the game on (Default is C:Program FilesPerfect World)
The installer will ask for a confirmation of your install setup. If everything is ok, click on “Next” to proceed with the installation
Insert the remaining disks when prompted to do so.
When installation is complete, click on “Finish” to exit

Both sites keep timing out. When bypassing the browser end and utilizing a FTP client, forced closure is the message I receive as well.
Is there, possibly, a time frame in which these are accessible and not accessible ?

Downloading the files now using Download Manager (free software, just Google it). Ok naman so far, although PLDT MyDSL can really be slow (total download speed of 6kbps wahhh). At the rate it’s going, estimated download time will be about 3 days for the two files, so medyo late for tuesday hehehe. However, I also sent a message to LU Helpdesk and they informed me that the CD installer is available at their office. I think it’s in Pacific Star Building along Makati Ave. cor. Buendia Ext. They gave me a phone number to call and confirm before coming over. The number is 751-9600. The CD costs P60 for the 4 cds, the same price as the one they provided earlier. At the rate I am downloading, I would probably need it before Tuesday. Good thing I will be in Makati by Monday

as far as I know, CRC (Cyclical Redundancy Check)error occurs if the downloaded file was corrupted, and the value being expected by the computer is different from the one being reported by the file. This could have been caused by electrical errors in downloading (power surges could cause this, especially in downloading large files over a lengthy period of time). I don’t think there is another way to correct this than to download the file again (groan). But I hope there is another way, for your sake and mine. I better stick with the CD for the meantime Hopefully I can get one by Monday

I doubt that you can “patch” the file. As far as I know, you will need to download the entire thing again. Kasi nga, CRC yung error. Your computer is doing an internal computation to validate if the file was not corrupted during download. Alam ko nag-iiba ang value with every download (correct me if I am wrong, anybody ) If I am mistaken, of course I can send you the file once I got mine installed. But if you are anywhere near Makati, I would suggest you get a copy from their office na lang. Myself, I stopped the download already coz it’s taking too long (3 days approximately).

For LU Management/GMs:

Any chance to have the files broken down further into more “manageable” size? From experience, a 140MB file will take about 7-8 hours of download (faster with others, I suppose) using a Torrent client. Kahit numerous yung files, kung higher naman ang chances of downloading it uncorrupted, it would be better I think, especially for those of us who are far from your office. Just a suggestion. Thanks

Just read in the PW forums last night they are planning to come up with a torrent soon. Kaya lang, monday na bukaas hehe dalawang tulog na lang (kung matutulog pa kayo). So the fastest way to get it is via the CD from their office. Too bad if you are far away from their office.

I’ve been following this game for almost two months, now the open beta is out and none of the links work. If it’s only for the Phillipines client why wont the official site say so? WTH? When does western civilization get thier hands on it?

Apparently, i wont run on vista 64bit… i cant install it too.. using the autorun (flash application), selecting “install perfect world” doesnt do anything. Manually installing it using the setup file under fscommand folder, nothing happens either.

So am guessing its the 64bit issue. Anyone who can confirm this? Really interested in this game, but if it cant run on vista64.. awww.

Well the torrent works.
So that’s great.
I dled the links, using IE. (Mozilla might have had compatibility problems)
But found the CRC decompression error.
So I’m hoping that the torrent file should work.
Otherwise I’ll have to wait a month or so or whenever CDs are available in Baguio.

aight’ i am downloading the full client 2.2 gb from torrent, working preety well since i’ve seen ppl complayining about speed of 6kb/s ~_~ pfew thats pain, use http://isohunt.com/ , search perfect world and there are few seed’s which is true but still better than nothing, i am donwloading with 120kb/s which its fine for me lol 7 hours left. i hope my pc will be ready for the game.

I found the Fix in the forum however, i cant download it since I cant verify my profile simply because i ddnt recieve any activation link/code from the forums sent to my mail. hay problem ko rin ang pagda-download ng PW at RF installers…i really wanted to play PW pa naman kasi yan ang mga tipo ng graphics na gusto ko.

btw, i used to play tantra and i stopped playing it since May pa kasi garapalan ang cheat at hack like the freeze screen and dupe hacks ang dami rin GM pets at saka mas naging mahal ang laro ng maging p4f yun.

i was really hoping na maimplement ang pagdl ng mga installers as torrent files…kasi in my experience it never failed me in dling huge files esp. movie and game installers.

mga tropa tulong naman na download q ung 2.27G na installer nung inistall q na ok naman sa una tapos may lumabas na c:program files\perfect world\element building. pck A compression error has occurred(#7)

file CRC mismatch-data itegrity error tapos may rety,cancel,ignore pag inignore q papasok kaso 307 lang ung na install dpat 2g plus un….help naman pra d q muna delete ung installer….

my goodness gracious, i was able to get the manual patch finally, however, back to zilch! this time i get bloody file corrupted:’( waaaaaaaaahhhhhh…. dunno whot’s wrong with the world_target.txt??? does that mean i need a huge file of it? since it’s only 5kb? hopefully i could resolve this again since there’s no mod here to help nor updating:( i doubt if others’ probs. has been solved at all. oi, does anyone of ya who posted here was able to patch the game successfully & playing the game already? i guess so… if still i won’t find the final resort to this, am afraid i’ll just have to go for Perfect World Europe, sigh….Thanks Heaps guys for reading anyhow, lol…Blessed be to all:)

Onins, just a suggestion, ye have to put back in the 1st cd, that’s whot i did just earlier as told by my cousin’s friend. anyhow, although the patching took only 30mins. but still am, again, encountering this bloody runtime error from program elementclient.exe with R6025 - pure virtual function call:( seems the download of this game got too many ambiguous or vague areas or should i say ‘moo-moo’=( goodluck to any1 who wants to download all of it successfully likewise am happy for those who have the game since early last year as well as for those who had trouble downloading but are now already playing. i wish there’s someone, who is a very good samaritan, to help us unlucky ones with the Perfect DownLoad so we could all be happy playing the bloody perfect game:D

to all who read my comments. why my computer always pop up the microsoft genuine validation. it said that your system may be at risk. and you are a victim of microsoft genuine. how can i remove that thing, do i need to reformat my pc. last question . why if i using internet explorer it will keep the page cannot be displayed i always encountered that problem.

heres what you do… go to the perfect world site… get the client… download from the 10-part .rar..remember to get all the files and put them all in the same folder… takes about 4-5 hours on a dsl line.. so on cable that would be less than 2.5 hours.. (one would assume)then in order to get the servers working right you should manually patch the game which means FINDING.. dear god it can’t be that hard…. the patches by googline “perfect world patches”…. then when you open the patch your perfect world client and its servers will work just fine.. better than downloading a torrent and waiting a week cause not many people even know about this game yet…HAVE FUN.. look me up on oracle server.. name KOTR
