Agree. Human nature has its extremes. I guess that’s why aliens can’t understand us but we eventually win over invasions.

Well… when you get to read stuff like that its actually very disturbing, human nature is very complex, and when you see those crimes makes you think a lot :/… personally the one that shocked me the most was the one about the guy who stabbed another guy for a sword in a game,and well that is just sick …

Nice little compilation GMT. It’s sad to see how games can get a bad rep for things like this.

I’ll agree with Fatman and Blackwolf. People are responsible for their own actions. If it wasn’t a game that gave someone the bad idea, it’s a movie, a TV show, a song…whatever means of artistic expression that may exist. Those are things that are being blamed for people not knowing right from wrong. It’s sad that society needs to blame something and automatically points the finger to arts (namely video games).

Some people think that violent games make players violent but they don’t realize it is violent people who are attracted to violent games in the first place.

Its alarming that war games are associated in the commission of crimes. But in my opinion it has an effect but it cant be blamed alone. Maybe its just one of the many factor.

there’s another case of a kid who died of malnutrition because his/her parents neglected to feed her. but i don’t think games are the underlying cause. some people are just plain sick.
