Oh please, he didn’t die of gaming. He died of over exhaustion. Anyone who stays up 3 days straight for anything will feel that. This is what gives games a bad image.

Sometimes people forget that some people actually commit suicide by proxy. I wouldn’t blame the game, I’d blame the guy’s family. Don’t you think it’s weird that the families of the guys who died playing several days straight never bothered to look for them?

And one more thing, did anybody notice that all those who died playing were male? Does anybody wonder what level of desperation would drive a guy to commit suicide by gaming?

Why is everyone in such a hurry to level? This guy died of two things, impatience and stupidity. He could’ve leisurely accomplished what he wanted to do in a few weeks without pressure. Instead, he’s playing in that Big Internet Cafe In The Sky, where there is NO access to his game account in China.

Sad part is this isn’t the only case of real death in an MMORPG. I think GM T has another article about negligent parents and I have read about a similar case of a Korean kid playing himself to death.
