New Servers for RF and PW

The launch of a new server is always welcome news. To us, on the business side, this means that we’ve created a lot of demand, and the worlds (servers) are becomming too crowded too fast. It’s a good marketing and business problem. It also goes to show who’s the better online gaming company (*snicker). That’s why we’re all excited about the launch of new servers for both Perfect World and RF Online.

For players, new servers are a good way to start. Your build sucked? Try the new world and learn from your mistakes. Want to start a new “all-star” guild? A new server is also the perfect avenue. Or, you might want to be a part of power level race since you already know where the optimized places to level are. Whatever your reasons, new servers always offer a smile.

Dates and details of both servers after the jump

Perfect World

  • Server Name: Serpent
  • Launch Date: March 31, 2008 (Monday)

RF Online

  • Server Name: Calix (I’m glad the RF team chose the name I wanted)
  • Launch Date: April 14, 2008 (tentative)

Meanwhile, don’t forget to tell your guild about the RF Online Guild Top Up Promo and if you’re a PW player, check out the Perfect World Party Up recruitment program. If the cafe that you’re playing doesn’t have CD installers for either game, just shoot me an e-mail and I’ll make sure the people in charge of this will know.

Btw, I just came from Robinsons Manila yesterday since Level Up sponsored the 1st Philippine Cosplay Convention. I’ll be blogging about that soon.

    Regarding patch for PW, team is already working on it and is a top priority.

    argh kakagawa ko plang halos ng karakter ko sa xenos. 35 plang ako. tas bglang meh bago n nmn server. eh naun nga suffer ako ng matinging ewan na error d 2loi mklaro. ahh basta stick ako sa xenos. ganun dn man features ng new server eh. ang bago dun more bugs ulet. hahaha.

    Regarding dun sa pag launch ng new server sa perfect world, kasabay din ang banning ng mga accounts, dahil po dun sa gold bug, nadamay po ung mga inosente na wla nmang alam sa bug. Tpos nag implement pa ng modified xp rate, unfair nman po sa mga nban, sna po asikasuhin nila ng mabilis and sana may compensation kac d nman kasalanan ng players.

    GMTristan is this true? 3 mos old palang ang Xenos tpos ngaun meron na nmn bago server which is Calix? ndi pa nga united ang accre sa Xenos tpos here comes a new server na nmn. well, its ok nmn pero sana ok na din ung patch. kc if ever na lumabas nga ung server na yan, it will force me to transfer to that server kc parang naglolokohan lang mga accre sa Xenos. Pero please… four servers is enough na muna… ubos na daw kc ung players sa Praxis kawawa naman ung mga players dun…

    hi gm tristan, kailan ba lalabas talaga ung new server, excited na kami ng mga tropa ko, quit kami praxis RF, at susubok kami sa bagong server kung matuloy man lumabas yan, and sana lumabas na, habang wala pa kaming work hahahaha. rush nyo na pag launch >:) marami na naman lalaro nyan no combination of hora lvl cap summons pa, i smell bellatos owning >:)
