New Level Up FPS Game To Be Revealed At LIVE 2009

Level Up!, the Philippines’ leading online game publisher, has just announced that it has acquired a First Person Shooter (FPS) online game, the name of which, as well as the developer, remains undisclosed at the moment.

Powered by Valve’s Source engine, a system used in popular and well-received FPS games such as Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike, this new online game promises to give even the most seasoned virtual combatants an explosive experience. Its dynamic light and shadow effects and realistic textures create the most believable characters.

“We are very excited to launch this new game, and we are confident that this will be the FPS game that Filipino gamers will be talking about and getting their action gaming fix from.” says Jane Walker, Level Up! CEO.

Level Up!’s new game is scheduled to have a grand unveiling at no less than the biggest online gaming event in the country, Level Up! Live 2009. Opening on November 7 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, FPS fans are expected to troop to the annual event to take a crack at what promises to be the hottest online FPS game ever introduced locally.

Hope to seeya all there.

Can anyone guess what the game is?

Nagresearch ako about MMOFPS with Valve source engine. Is it point Blank?, Combat Arms? or CS online? hehe.

  2. Redmana says:

My bet will be any of the following:

    Wolf Team
    Combat Arms
    Global Agenda
    Soldier Front
    S4 League

But why FPS? and not the acquisition of Emil Chronicle PH?

  3. ricorp says:

    ganda ng Sting Online ^_^

  4. Poche says:

  7. Hrimfaxi says:

    maybe:
    Gunz the duel
    Wolf team
Last online (prang DMC na naging online)

pero sa last online prang imposible…
hindi kc kumukuha bagong game LUG kc mahal kontrata…

    gustu nila mga 2nd hand..

pansin ko eh… kinikuha lagi mga pinag lumaan sa Internationals…

  8. babyface says:

im guessing that its CS Online…

  9. Soldier Front is MyGayme’s Special Force. Get S4 League afterwards! You’ll get almost every anime fan to play S4 League (3rd person sporty shooter)

  10. Spitatcha says:

i am sure magiging mas malaki to kesa sa SF! go level up!

  11. nexgen says:

its CS online..its already popular in korea

  12. @Jam: maybe GoldSrc Engine/Source Engine
    @babyface, nexgen: it’s Counter-Strike Online im guessing?

  13. Avatar says:

    Its Combat Arms ! I’m betting 100%.

    Kudos @ LUG !

  14. Bachan says:

    I’m betting its CSOnline

    why?

Emphasizing with Source Engine and Valve takes the Keywords xD

and of course CS caught the hearts of the Pinoy FPS Lan Parties

    AGES ……… ago

well only FPS that would be a good marketing here is none other than CS Online =..=

anyway WHERE’s our ECO PH? O_O wth

  15. Avatar says:

CS Online uses micro payment as payment model custom manage from Steam back end. Its not a Free to Play game. And to think that NEXON was longer managing this game since 2008 wonder why?

If Combat Arms uses Jupiter Ex Engine and Wolf Team with Unreal Engine 3.

That falls down to just one.

    “Sting Online”

  16. Avatar says:

PS: Sting Online is also came from YNK Developer that also brought Rohan Online which published early this year by LUG.

Sad :{ kla ko pa naman Combat Arms or kahit sana Wolf Team PH.

  17. Wolf Team PH is already in Mobius’ dying hands.

  18. ricorp says:

ika nga ng supporter kong si Avatar…

    “falls down to just one…”

    and that’s Sting Online ^_^

nawawala nga ang post ko sa Rohan Boards about it eh :p

  19. Avatar says:

Heh. Correct yung first post mo ricorp : )

Nung nakita ko yung Sting Online sa post mo research ko agad yung Engine including other FPS titles.

Sting Online uses Valve’s Source Engine. Tapos hanap ng website ang kaso Korean pa lng pero may napansin ako sa site may YNK Interactive.

So even di pa nila nare-revealed huge chance na Sting Online nga yan.

  20. OIST mga GM! Ditch na ba ECO?

  21. Jam. says:

*Hoping that it will be CS Online*

  22. GM T says:

Dami guesses ha. Sino kaya ang tama?

  23. I bet for Sting Online, and if possible… get S4 League as well, it will attract more anime lovers at that way.

  24. GM, please answer us: What will happen to your promised Emil Chronicle Online PH?

  25. Avatar says:

Yeah mas okay sana kung ECO na lang yan kaysa sa FPS. The next Ragnarok sana papakawalan pa ng LUG.

  26. YEAH! PLEASE LAUNCH EMIL CHRONICLE ONLINE ALONG WITH IT!

  27. ricorp says:

Confirmed na nga… it’s Sting Online though I’m not sure it that will be the name that LU will use when they launch it here…

check the art used in this fps tournament on LU Live 2009, if you did your homework, you would agree that indeed it is …

  30. hrimfaxi says:

hrimfaxi, MMOFPS nga last online ka naman jan.
Di nmn maganda eh, di siya DMC, tingnan mo kung gaano ka slow ung mga combos niya. at di kukunin un ng LU, di pa nga translated eh. my bet is on Sting, kasi sabi nila Source engine daw, so 2 possible choices, Sting or CS Online. but my bet is on sting.
    and guys
    Soldier Front = US
    Special Force = Philippines

  31. LU Gamer says:
