Murphy’s Law (on Ragnarok and RPC)

The infamous Murphy’s Law states that “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”.

That law has proved itself correct today.

Of all days, it couldn’t have happened on a worse time. Our tech people, Waukster and GM Jibrielle were calling me a few hours ago to alert me of an “application error” which caused the Wild Card voting and the game to go down. Sometimes, people can connect but most of the time connection is lost.

*loud sigh*

Bad trip talaga. Why did it have to happen today? The last day of the RPC Agit Lord siege and the Wild Card voting. Reports have been coming into my cellphone saying that this “anomaly” has been spreading to the other games as well. Our tech, ICT team and even the Gravity guys are already at the office trying to investigate and make a fast fix on the problem.

In behalf of everyone, I apologize for this inconvenience. It just happened. And at an obviouse bad time. Please check the boards and the RO site for official statements on extensions and how we’re going to proceed with the tournament on this. I was really excited yesterday about the siege today.

Trust that we are aware of the problem and are doing the best we can to fix this and find out the cause.

Waukeen and I will update everyone from time to time. Also, check the forums and the site for updates too.

    Ganito rin naman ang nangyari noong nomination period e. 30 minutes before matapos ang botohan “biglang nasira na lang ang Voting Tally Page.” Tumawag pa ako sa CS to verify but you dont believe it. Kahit i-check mo pa. Never nyong inaksyunan and it showed how complacent you are kaya naulit uli.

    Tapos ngayon… “sorry?” na naman?

    Matagal na ang elims and never kayong nakarinig sa kin about this thing. Pero kung mappansin sa blog, parang first time lang nangyari ang masira ang page sa last 30 minutes ng scoring. lolz Samantalang its an old issue. Yun lang, un-announced because they are too complacent of what happened.

    Saka wala naman akong nirereklamo about this topic. Pino-point out ko lang kung saan maaaring magkamali.

    GM T just wanna be heard, i guess if u really think about it, dapat nxt saturday pa2loy… being head of this game you are well aware of the difference between WOE on saturday and WOE on tuesday. pero i guess you have the issue of the schedules… i guess your decision for this is another stroke on the picture on how we look at you. hope tama decision nyu.

    P.S. not all problems can be satisfied my modified XP/drop AND anu na nangyari sa GTB issue? under investigation parin ba? or should we forget it nalng?!?!?!

    wala nang pagasa yan LUG. mga bulok mga tao jan,sindikato. Palibhasa di pinapansin kasi mga bata ang consumer, wla ka naman maikaso para makulong ang mga ungas na yan. di naman papansinin ng NBI yan mga ngyyri jan pwera lang ung dati kasi nagpatayan na dahil lng sa boss card,which is yang mga ungas na yan din naglalabas. nung mejo obyus na na andami na nilang nilabas na boss card,ginawan nila ng paraan, gumawa sila ng donita npc para may excuse kung bakit andami masyadong GR na lumabas. tpos ayan pag rpc nagkakaloko loko…wow what a f*&^king coincidence, may mga alaga sila na kailangan makapasok sa rpc, empre pra makapasok kailangan isabotage ang sieges at wildcard. gugulat ka sira ang map pag siege…mga map ng mga guild na malaki ang chance sa race. tapos e2 naman wild card. mga wala kayong bayag.pati bata inuulol nyo
