She’s one mean mom!

Sometimes moms don’t get mad, they get even. I hope my mom isn’t reading this. At any rate, this mother from Richmond, Virginia USA is selling her son’s Xbox 360 plus all the games because her son didn’t do the household chores. The son even broke the vacuum cleaner on purpose just to avoid cleaning his room.

Surprisingly, there have been NO BIDS on the auction at Ebay. But there are a LOT of comments from netizens.

Yes I am the mean mom who is selling her sons XBOX and games to replace the vaccum he broke but also to teach him a lesson that things cost money, and you should respect your parents. He can do his chores (that still remains on the kitchen table typed very neatly) now knowing that the money he earns will go towards something he bought…and maybe that might make him respect alittle bit more….this is something that has been three weeks coming, he has had numerous changes to get a better attitude…but when I found the porn on his computer that was it…so here we are: Let’s bid

Also comes with XBOX games: FAmily Guy, Ghost Recon, Halo 2

A wireless headset, a second remote & quite possibly the wireless Halo earpiece–that I’m still trying to locate–

this kid will have psychological problems when he grows up. he’s going to be guarding everything he owns, becoming so paranoid he will live in a house full of safes. he will be single for the rest of his life because he will fear angry/mean females or females in general because of his mother.

my mom never bought me a bow & arrow tow when i was little. i am still feeling the effects of that today…

They shout at their parents, do drugs, booze and sexual experiments with their pets and vegetables, and look forward to the day when they turn 18 so they can beat the bejeezus out of their parents for way they were treated.

Of course, American parents are also among the worst in the world…

I would have done the same thing for my kid if I were in that mom’s shoes. But I’m ready to bet everything I own that in case that happens, his dad is gonna be the winning bidder.

Ah, but will daddy share…?

Daddy can enjoy the benefits of the 360’s superior graphics, gameplay and awesome titles. And he needs none of Junior’s help setting that up.

However, lest Junior be left out, I would suggest that he be given an opportunity to appreciate history and enjoy pulse-pounding gaming action at the same time. In place of his XBox, he should be given a Magnavox Odyssey console. Why, I do believe our dear friend GM T wrote about the Odyssey and even has an exciting video that shows how cool this console is!

The last time my mom got so mad at me, that was years ago BTW, she got my gameboy and broke its screen. Scary huh?

I think the mom’s action is “justifiable”. If I were in her shoes, I’d probably do the same, or maybe even worse. XD

i’d like to counter that. i’ve seen parents in the US, even single-parents who just work their ass off and at the same time try to be a good parent to their children. note, walang yaya sa states. it’s not easy being a parent here, i’ve seen that.

and if you beat your kid in the US, it’s a crime, if you beat your kids in the philippines it’s called discipline.

boys and girls, let’s not be too hasty making generalizations.

my kids will be occupied with good old-fashioned sports.

football, basketball, american football (maybe), and lacross (maybe)

I’ve sworn not so long ago that I’ll do my best to make my kids kick ass in Tekken as well as be the MVP in Filipino outdoor games such as patintero, tumbang preso, etc. Hehehehe.
