Yup, I know so many guys who use MMORPGs as Barbie Dolls. It’s more socially acceptable. Then again, playing MMORPGs in general is more socially acceptable than dressing up in papier mache armor and wielding a plastic sword while chasing neighbors down the block…

MMORPGs are just another healthy outlet for our 21st century neuroses.

LOL I’m kidding. But yeah, you don’t need to play MMORPGs to play “dress up”. Single-player RPGs and FPSes are the same too - you get better armour, better weapons, better guns etc…

Err.. I’d rather think that my MMO characters are my Table top RPG characters. Makes the transition less… as Ate Issai put it… freaky.

I always found my MMORPG more of a psychedelic vacation rather than a fashion show.

Or is it a vacation from my psychosis?
